Best WLM Reviews

I had a great experience with Dr. Lavian—he’s wonderful! He really took the time to listen to my concerns and provided valuable advice for my skin issues. However, I’m quite disappointed with the booking process. I tried scheduling an appointment through their “call center” system, and it took over two days to finalize the appointment, despite me promptly answering all the questions they asked. The process felt slow and inefficient, with multiple delays in responding to my answers. It was frustrating, especially since I’ve been able to book appointments quickly when I visit the office in person. Overall, while Dr. Lavian is fantastic, the scheduling system definitely needs improvement.
Great experience for the first time at this office. This positive experience was due to the medical assistant Nancy who was exceptional! She was welcoming, patient and efficient and she was Dr. Lavian’s assistant. Dr. Lavian had good bedside manners and professional. He addressed all my skin health concerns and I was very pleased.
The dermatologist needs to care more about his patients. He came in the room, asked me a bunch of personal questions like what I like to do for fun with my friends. I couldn't wrap my brain around these questions that made no sense. It was like a person with no social skills trying to make conversation but just making the other person feel uncomfortable. Very robotic. Then, without any notice, switched to asking questions about what creams and medications I used on the rash on my foot. It shifted into feeling like an interrogation.
Just by looking at, he says 'that's eczema'.. well no, it turns out it wasn't. I just happened to be seeing a foot Dr for foot pain that month too. The foot Dr saw my skin and asked if I was seeing a dermatologist, I said yes. Then asked if I had a biopsy done. I said no. He offered to do a biopsy there. I did and test results came back as psoriasis.
Why did I have to go to a foot Dr to get a proper diagnosis instead of the dermatologist I just saw?
Went here for the first time and was very pleased with the visit. I called and was able to obtain an appointment the same day. Hannah was great explaining everything and her assistant was very knowledgeable as well. Definitely would recommend coming here!
This is maybe the 8th google review I’ve ever left and I’m 39. Not a bad Derm experience just a bad experience at a doc office overall. Receptionist couldn’t be bothered to even look at me let alone say hello when I walked in (1 of 2 people in the lobby). Taken back at 3 for a 2:30 appt didn’t see Lavian until 3:20. Mind you, that can all be forgotten if the doc is awesome. He wasn’t. Didn’t warn me he was going to give me local before he did, then dropped the cap on the floor and left it. Sliced off and biopsied a mole on my back then didn’t wrap it well enough and I bled through a bandaid, my new shirt, and onto the seat of my car on the way home. Cool bro.
Aside from the obvious, he was dismissive, interrupted me before I could finish my question and acted like I was inconveniencing his day.
My father has bad skin cancer and has had an excellent experience at other affiliated locations. I felt like I was being punk’d.
Dr. Lavian was very knowledgeable and kind during our first appointment. He gave me several options and considerations for treatment since my condition has flare-ups. My appointment went well and built my confidence in the treatment plan. The office staff was very nice and professional.
After waiting months for an appointment for our infant son, we arrived for our appointment only for Dr. Lavian let us know that he is not a pediatric dermatologist and could not treat our son. The best he could do was take photos of our son to send to another doctor. How does something like this happen? The clinic knew our son's exact age for months. When I called to complain, I was promised a call back from the clinic manager which I never received. I also never received a call back from Dr. Lavian about the photos that were taken. So in summary, we still have a suffering infant, no treatment plan, and still had to pay our copay. I don't often write reviews but this experience was too terrible to let slide.
Dr. Lavian was very knowledgeable, thorough, and willing to try different treatment options for my teen’s skin issues. I’m very grateful and would recommend him to others for sure! The entire care team and front office staff are compassionate, caring people.
