I had an excellent experience at AFC Urgent Care! Samantha and her team provided top-notch care with quick service and amazing guest support. The entire process was smooth and efficient, and they made me feel well taken care of. Highly recommend this location for anyone in need of urgent care!
Front desk staff were very nice and helpful in getting me checked in. Both the tech and the DR were extremely nice. My only issue is that when I got my visit summary, the report says I denied having things like chest pressure, aches, and sweats which is not true. Not only was I not asked about those, I did have them either currently or in the previous 12hrs. Also the diagnosis was listed as suspected exposure to Covid, which was never really discussed. I received results this morning with a positive test for RSV which also was not discussed as a possibility. The tech seemed to only do a swab test because I said I wanted one.
Not really one to go to urgent care and don’t remember the last time I ever went but I had a lot of pain in my hand/wrist and I wanted to make sure that I didn’t have a fracture. So I went to this location recommended by a close friend because she had good experiences there. I am very happy to say I did as well today! I was pleasantly surprised they answered the phone prior to me going in which is rare and I’m really happy to say the place was very clean the front staff was super sweet and very friendly. The X-ray technician Tom he was very knowledgeable, was very careful with my hand and genuinely very nice! The PA Sam was amazing. She was very friendly, knowledgeable, personal came into the room to greet me, gathered all the info on what happened to my hand and went above and beyond to make sure that everything looked good and that I was very well taken care of! I am very grateful for today’s experience there. Would definitely go back in the future in necessary and I highly recommend them for urgent care! I want to thank the staff for today I really appreciate how well I was taken care of!
Sam, PA, along with Dante & the X-ray tech, were all wonderful!! They answered all of my questions, were very kind, tested me for everything I asked for and gave me a chest X-ray. Sam has a fantastic bedside manner! She’s very intelligent & has a great personality. I was so impressed & I already feel better! They called me the following day, as promised, with my test results. It was a very good experience considering how awful I felt! The next time I need medical treatment I may skip my Dr. and come straight to AFC Urgent Care in Yorktown Heights!
Best urgent care in the area by far! The front desk staff was informative with wonderfully welcoming demeanors. The care staff and provider took the time to both listen and explain with great understanding and consideration. The wait was minimal as a walk in and I did not feel rushed at all once we were seen. Thank you all for your care and hard work.
Got in and out quickly. My son got tested for strep, covid and flu very efficiently. The staff was helpful in working with a special needs family.
It was easy to register and schedule an appointment online before going in the next day. I arrived at 10:20am for a 10:27 appointment. I was seated in the exam room by 10:38 but there was another wait for the doctor. Dr. Gupta was nice enough. He suggested a nasal swab to do a respiratory virus panel even though I didn’t have any respiratory symptoms. All the tests came back negative. I thought it might be a hit or miss with urgent care because of my obscure symptoms. He prescribed 4 weeks of antibiotics but all my symptoms went away the next day. Nurse (or PA) Alexa was lovely. She did a quick, painless blood draw and she was just very professional but personable. The front desk staff were also nice. I received the virus panel results a few hours after my visit but still awaiting the bloodwork results which they said will take a few days. The building and facilities are new and it’s in a great location with tons of parking and shopping.
Everyone was wonderful! It was one of the most pleasant doctor's experiences we have ever had. I would absolutely recommend this office and Dr. Panarelli. He was patient, very engaging. He was thorough and extremely knowledgeable. The entire office staff was pleasant, kind and professional.
