Best WLM Reviews

I was very pleased with the level of care and professionalism of the staff. The staff were very welcoming, and helpful. They were also thorough and explained in detail the test results and medication prescribed. They were a lot of people waiting to be serviced today and they moved the patients through in a smooth and timely manner. I really appreciated that. I would definitely recommend this provider.
I brought my son feeling very sick. Was told only have 1provider working & I understood that but we waited 1hour 30 minutes to go inside. Once inside told my son going to run some test that will take about 15minutes & another hour has gone by & provider does not return to give results but continues to call more patients inside & doesn't finish with my son. This is upsetting to say the least because I've been here before & the service was much better. We only want the results so we know what is wrong & let us go home! Stop calling in more & more patients if you haven't finished with the patients you already started with.
My first time here since they closed the urgent care in Lafayette and Tremont avenues. Took about an hour, which is normal. Dr. and staff were pretty friendly. Dr. was thorough and informative, which is important to me. Place was clean. I would go back.
I showed up in extreme pain and cramps. I had a quite embarrassing day earlier and was in pretty rough shape both physically and mentally. The nurses made me feel very comfortable and at ease especially when I was afraid of a kidney infection (UTI). I talked to doctor told him my physical concerns. Asked if I can have a more saying I can use the bathroom during my final as it is a medical condition/emergency. And he saw how stressed mentally I was from this the pain and being uncomfortable and genuinely asked me how I was. And was so kind and listened while being supportive.
I’ve been here in the past and the wait wasn’t as long as yesterday even with their new online check-in. It’s a good location because it has parking and the office is clean. There were just a few concerns I had. While at the waiting area there were two ladies on the phone speaking loudly (gossiping) and when sitting in an urgent care waiting area this shouldn’t be allowed.
Another concern was that the doctor was tough to understands. I had to ask him to repeat himself several times which I was embarrassed about. Once he left I asked the that came in with him to please repeat what he asked me to do and she wasn't as pleasant as I expected. She seemed to be bothered by my question.
On the other hand, the young ladies working at the front desk were very helpful and accommodating which is what I expect the way to be treated at a doctor's office. Especially when not feeling well.
Customer service in the Bronx is really hit or miss (seems like mostly miss), but you guys got a good thing going. We chose this urgent care for the good reviews and weren't disappointed. Staff was friendly, facility was clean and Dr Tugetman was respectful and relaxed. Recommend!
While the wait time can be agonizing some days, I have to emphasize that all staff are incredibly amiable, patient and helpful. I’ve come over the years for various reasons and always had a positive experience. Very clean, and sanitary.
The facility is nice and clean; Parking is also great, since it's on a Strip Mall. The Staff are also nice. 1 Star because of my gripes though, specially on #2.
1. I and company were ahead of 2 patients to arrive and check in. We were then brought to a room to get my Parents' vitals for their TDaP and Polio vaccines and were told that the Doctor will be in shortly. 30 minutes already passed and we were still waiting, so I asked outside and a Nurse said that there were 2 more ahead of us and only 1 Doctor was available. I went to check the waiting area and 2 new patients were there... which meant that the 2 behind me earlier were already being seen before us. I didn't mind waiting even longer, if only someone just explained that the 2 patients needed to get ahead due to serious conditions compared to us, who were only in for shots.
2. Dr. Brian Fahnrich was rude and needs to attend an In-service Training to learn correct bedside manners. He kept on saying that the CDC recommendation for Polio & Tdap vaxx needs to be injected in the same arm only, and that we can make it easy or a difficult one when I was asking that my 77y.o. Mom requests them on separate arms due to low-pain tolerance; I guess he got irritated and called the Office Mgr. into the room. While he was preparing the injections, he even told me that "since I seem to know more than him" in a condescending and sarcastic tone, even after I said that I trust him because he's the Doctor. I don't expect Medical Professionals to be cheerful and chatty, but at least consider the patient's concerns and explain properly if it cannot be accommodated. Does he think we're dumb and doesn't understand what he's saying if he'll explain, because we're Asians?! Besides, it's not like he did the injections for free; I paid $150 on top of the cost of vaccines for each of my parents. His behavior was unacceptable; I also have a slew of Medical Specialists in NY Presbyterian, NYU and WestMed for my health issues, but no one was and is like him.
