I didn't catch her name, but the lady who walked me back and took my blood deserves a raise. She is hard to find in the medical world, but she was the nicest, caring, and most patient person. She alleviated my anxiety and was amazing at drawing blood. She made the whole experience a 10/10 and made me feel better about going in.
AFC was recommended by a friend. It was our first time there. The three ladies who helped us last night were so nice and friendly. Our visit took about 30 minutes. AFC will be our first choice for urgent care for our family from now on.
My son received awesome care. All of the staff was courteous and listened. The NP was thorough and prescribed meds. We were in and out in less than 30 minutes. We will definitely return and tell friends and family about the experience.
Their website should be updated to state they don't do urine samples for drug testing on Saturdays. The registration staff member was kind, and the wait wasn't too long. Also, I think it might be a good idea to provide a top for urine samples; I accidentally spilled a little of my sample???? I really appreciate how the staff member that assisted me handled the moment though. I have seen some healthcare workers that would made the patient feel uncomfortable or embarrassed in a situation like that, however the staff member that assisted me today immediately reassured me that everything was okay and we continued to move forward with my appointment while she handled my issue. I did not get her name, but ma'am, I applaud your healthcare work ethic and beautiful personality. AFC she is certainly an asset to your brand!
The staff was very personable from the front desk to triage to the doctor to the X-ray specialist. Very intentional in finding a solution for my symptoms and also informing me about an additional medical issue I had no idea about which I can now follow up with immediately to prevent future health issues.
Quick entry. Very kind staff. Nurse Practioner was excellent. They called in my meds to the local Rite Aid in the same shopping area. Home within 2 hrs start to finish including the RX pickup.
I had a great experience at the Harbor View AFC Urgent Care. My daughter was having an allergic reaction and the entire team did a phenomenal job taking care of her. I wanted to specifically highlight Stacy (PA), Hannah, Gabby, Alicia, and Lisa; I appreciate the bedside manner, explanation of care given, and follow-up care the team gave. I would definitely use their services again!
Don’t go here for Drug Testing. VERY inconvenient. I showed up Friday after work at this office to be told they only do Drug Testing Monday through Friday 8am to 4pm that wasn’t so much of a big deal so I just planned to show up first thing Monday morning(8am) as I was told. I showed up this morning as soon as they opened just to be told that the ONLY person that does the Drug Testing for the office won’t be there until 9 or 9:30.. I was really hoping to be able to get this out of the way first thing this morning so it didn’t inconvenience the rest of my day as a person that works a 9 to 5 in Virginia Beach. Just WOW.
