I got the email telling me to go to AFC Urgent care to do a drug screen. Monday through Friday 8am-8pm or Saturday 8am-6pm. The first time I arrived at 4:45pm and was told I would have to come back. They stopped drug screens at 4:30pm. So, I went back a second time and was told I'll have to come back. There wasn't anyone there to do a drug screen. This place had now wasted my time and gas, twice. I arrived a 3rd time on Monday at 8:30am and was told to check in at the tablet in the waiting room. 20 minutes after I complete checking in someone finally decided to tell me to check my text messages. There's more checking in I needed to do. The information I filled out then was the same info I provided on the tablet 20 minutes earlier, save for one question. Then, they ask for my ID, don't say anything and disappear into the back without saying anything.
If the people there acted like they cared to do their job in the slightest, then I wouldn't have had to go there 3 times and I would have been there less than 15 minutes, unlike the 54 minutes it took me to finally get out of that place. The women at the front desk were more interested in discussing their weekend and upcoming holiday plans than doing their jobs. They couldn't have cared less about why anyone was there nor how much of anyone's time they were wasting.
Everyone at AFC urgent care was so kind and friendly. The receptionist were very helpful and assisted me to enter my information into the system. Wait time was very short and my PA quickly figured out what was wrong. She was so personable and knowledgeable.I will definitely come back to this emericare if I am ill.
Nurses and staff were amazing but the doctor was kind of rude. He made simple questions seem more serious than it was. Felt more like an interrogation than a list of questions. I’ve had interactions with the same doctor in the past before and he presented himself in the same manner. Other than that I can’t complain. The nurses were clear, honest, and direct about the wait time and I I’d likely come back. I’d probably request a more friendly doctor though.
I liked that I could make an appointment online. I only needed a drug screen done. Didn't have to wait long at all and the nurse that assisted me was super friendly. Made me feel at ease. Will definitely use in the future if need arises.
I was able to schedule online, check in online and was moved through efficiently. The staff were great. I saw Kennedy Wilton, PA. Sidebar but likely reflects the culture there. I overheard him from the room I was in talking to a new staff member who must have been orienting today. The staff member was leaving at 3:00 and was asking if the back door was locked to exit. He told the gentleman, “Yes, of course, use that door. We will check about getting you a key but in the meantime, I’m here at 6:00 each day and I will open the door for you.”
I am fortunate to hardly ever get sick. When I do, I’m not the most patient person with myself and others (nurses are terrible patients ourselves, so I’ve been told, lol). So, when I give this team a 5-star review double that. The only negative about this visit is on me - I didn’t go in a few days earlier and suffered through the weekend feeling miserable. I always ask my now grown kids and husband when we make poor choices, “What have we learned from this?” I beat my husband to asking me and messaged him when I left the visit, “I’ve learned we have a great urgent care minutes from our house and I will not drag my feet again and suffer miserably before scheduling my appointment online next time.” Thanks again for your great care, team! Stay well yourselves and have a happy holiday season!
I don’t even have the words to describe how amazing and incredible and helpful this practice and sweet people working there were…they all went above and beyond and helped me more than I can put into words…not only did the amazing doctor go above and beyond she was the absolute sweetest and most caring doctor I think I’ve ever met in my life! I will now forever recommend this practice over any other any day!
I had a DOT physical today and I had no idea what to expect. Everyone there was professional and knowledgeable. I like the easy going attitudes of each employee making my visit that much more comfortable. I would recommend people to go here if in need. Thanks to everyone that dealt with me today.
Great time, not a long wait for a walk in, took max of an hour to get in, do an exam and get out, great nurses and staff in terms of friendly demeanor and clear spoken instructions, very helpful when asking them questions, and the doctor was also clear and understanding when speaking and during the physical, overall great place to come to for health care and great staffing and pleasant atmosphere all around. I would highly recommend the AFC Urgent Care to those who live in the area!
