This is the best walk in clinic I have ever been to. The ladies up front are so nice and so sweet. They get you in and out fast. But with the best care. Third time I have been in here. I had poison ivy the past two times, they ordered a steroid for me and knocked it out.
We were seen promptly after being checked in quickly. The office staff was very courteous and informed. We always ask for NP Sarah! She is pleasant and on the ball. She made us very comfortable by explaining the diagnosis and the meds. She got them called in immediately and we were able to start them immediately. This was a very positive experience. Thank you.
Karina at the front desk was very friendly and professional! The check-in process was quick and easy since I was a returning patient. The MA, Anna Kate, was very thorough and compassionate while reviewing my medical history and running tests. The PA, Travis, was knowledgeable and created a plan of care that is already helping with my symptoms. As always, it was a great experience at AFC Ooltewah!
My experience was great! Knowledgeable in their field. Staff very friendly all over the facility. The NP Tina was knowledgeable with what was going on with me. Just thought she made checks on me that did reflect my health issues and treated. That is what I look for these days!!!
Tuesday morning was perfect for my visit.
I was only the 2nd person in line so I only had to wait about 5 minutes.
The lab tech showed me the X-Rays and I was told that they would call me with the results.
The staff there was very nice! I definitely will use them again.
Everything went quickly and smoothly. I just have not yet heard from them about the results. And it's been more than 24 hours.
I had a deeply frustrating experience at AFC Urgent Care, which was made worse by the unprofessional handling of my insurance issue. Upon arrival, I was informed by Cindy Belk that I didn’t have insurance. Confused, I immediately contacted my insurance provider, only to learn that there had been a mistake. Despite my insurance carrier confirming my coverage while I was still on the phone with them, AFC insisted that they had already called and confirmed otherwise — yet they refused to speak directly with the representative from my insurance.
This lack of accountability and communication is unacceptable. Why should I be paying monthly for insurance only to be told by AFC that I don’t have coverage based on their faulty claim submission? Not only did they fail to resolve the issue, but the overall care and responsiveness were extremely lacking. The entire situation felt unprofessional, and I left feeling as though my time and health were not respected. I would not recommend AFC Urgent Care based on this experience.
From the time I walked in the door until I left (1 hr 35 min total) everyone was so kind. I got a chest x-ray and they found pneumonia. Both Christina Aguila and Jesicca were so helpful and put me at ease. Christina called about and hour after leaving to explain everything and again she asked if I had any questions.
Wonderful clinic with great care! We were forced to stop with our children while traveling and Christina Aguila went above and beyond to help us not only get our medicines quickly but also have everything needed to get our children better while traveling. The clinic also followed up via phone later to check on our children. Very impressed!
