The Colombian secretary who speaks Spanish was not very nice to me. I brought my daughter because she hurt a finger on her hand and she told me that she had to come tomorrow, there were no x-rays and I told her that I wanted to see a doctor anyway. I did not understand her attitude. I do not know if she has any nursing knowledge to give a diagnosis and I told her that I wanted a doctor to examine her. Apparently she did not like my reaction and she made me sit down with an unpleasant attitude. And she told me that I could not stay at the window because a patient was coming and the patient went to the window next to mine. She was upset because I was filling out paperwork in front of her. I told her that I would not sit down because I did not like her attitude since it is not the first time she treats me like that.
I wound up having the flu. I was able to schedule an appointment online the same morning I needed to go in. As the first appointment, I didn't have to wait. The staff were all nice, efficient and I was in and out within about 20 minutes. They diagnosed me after taking a flu test and prescribed me medicines to take. I will be going there again if my primary doctor is unavailable.
Received great care here. NP Luis Alvarez is amazing. He was extremely knowledgeable and thorough. He listened intently and explained everything so well. He provided exceptional care. The staff at this facility are wonderful. I highly recommend.
I love the services I received. The staff was very supportive of my medical needs and went above and beyond. I felt heard and was taken care of. Especially that I had to pay out of pocket it was economical affordable for what I had received in this clinic. Thank you so much!!
We are visiting from NC for the holiday n my daughter started experiencing ear pain. We went to the urgent care center and everyone was extremely helpful and very nice. The doctor was joking with my daughter to make her feel comfortable and it was an great to experience This kindness when you’re away from home.
Woke up this morning and my child was feeling chest pains. I didn’t want to wait for her pediatrician to open at 10am. I’m so glad I was able to get an 8:20am appointment. The process was smooth and easy and the physician Tamica had an amazing bedside manner and made my child and I feel comfortable.
AFC has been an amazing experience when you need to medical care. I have visited both locations in North Bergen, me being my first time as a patient at the 88th Street location and was surprised to see how spacious and the staff over and beyond great! Check in was a bit tedious if you’re new but that’s to be expected. Other than that, wait time hardly five minutes was in the waiting area. NP Onorato and her team on hand were great and very pleasant. I have always recommended AFC urgent care to anyone who needs safe, and quick medical attention or clearance for a procedure. Thank you AFC!
It was a pleasure meeting you guys. Everyone was very friendly and helpful and it took me few minutes to do my testing. Everything was clean and nice organized.
