Fast, friendly and professional service is what you want with any urgent care and AFC Lansdale delivers. The online check-in feature is helpful so that your registration process is seamless. I cannot say enough about the customer service and bedside manner here. The reception, triage, x ray and consult with the NP were excellent. In/out in less than an hour with a treatment plan and peace of mind. The whole staff was great but our provider, Desiree, was excellent— informative, empathetic and kind. Highly recommend.
I came to AFC Urgent Care Lansdale and was greeted by Amanda and Chrissy at the front desk to check in, they were both welcoming and friendly. I was first treated by Tina the nurse, who took my vital signs and I described my condition. She was prompt and professional. I was then seen by Mikaela the Physician on duty, She conducted a thorough exam and prescribed medication. She was informative and professional. I was pleased with the treatment I received at AFC Urgent Care Lansdale and would recommend them for urgent care needs. Thank you.
They are so sweet and very helpful took my daughter here for an emergency in November for her eye and this lovely staff helped her out! I'm so happy that I came and meet this location! I recommen going here if needed! Thanks again AFC Urgent care of Lansdale!
I’ll start off by saying I previously gave a 5 star review to this urgent care after a great visit with my young daughter who normally dislikes going to any doctor, left saying she “loved that doctors office!” The staff that day was wonderful.
Sadly our next experience was not so positive. We came in on a Saturday morning for the same daughter’s (5 years old) tooth pain. I knew it was unlikely anything could be done but it was a Saturday morning like I mentioned, and since we wouldn’t be able to see her dentist until at least Monday I was worried about an infection. I explained this to the front desk woman who said she would check with the doctor. The doctor came out, obviously annoyed from the start (we were one of maybe 2 people in the waiting room). I explained that I knew my daughter had a couple of cavities, her dentist had previously done a sealant on them, but was unwilling to work on them under laughing gas because of her dental anxiety, and wanted to do them under general anesthesia. We were currently on the waitlist for another dentist who I had heard worked well with anxious kids, and also used CHOP as their hospital in the case that anesthesia was still needed. Which I felt much more comfortable with than the hospital her previous dentist use. The urgent care doctor rudely said right in front my daughter, who I just explained had a fear of the dentist, that kids die under laughing gas and that’s probably why her dentist suggested general anesthesia (I still have yet to find research supporting the fact that laughing gas carries more risks than general anesthesia, but that’s besides the point) and that we should just “suck it up” -her exact words. And then went on to tell us that it seemed like more of a discipline problem, than an urgent care problem. A simple, “you can check in and wait, just know that if I can’t see a visible infection there isn’t anything I can do for tooth pain” would have been perfectly fine as I said I anticipated an urgent care might not be able to help. I didn’t come in for parenting advice. Anyone with an anxious kid knows that sometimes there is no amount of “disciplining” you can to do reason with them. Especially at age 5. And I don’t think being hesitant to put your young child under general anesthesia for dental work before finding a dentist who uses a hospital you’re comfortable with, who uses actual pediatric anesthesiologists, is a crazy thing to do. Rudest doctor I have ever encountered, go somewhere else.
I want to take a moment to express my gratitude for the outstanding care my daughter, Autumn, and I received during our visit to urgent care today. The staff was extremely professional, and it’s clear that they prioritize both efficiency and kindness. We always feel welcomed and cared for, and it’s one of the reasons we love coming here. The courteous nature of the entire team really sets this place apart, and I highly recommend this location for anyone in need of medical care. Thank you for always going above and beyond!
Very pleased with my first visit to an urgent care facility. The staff was friendly and took good care of me to address my injury. The Dr. had a great bedside manner ans thoroughly explained the treat treatment as well as aftercare. Highly recommend!!
The staff were all very friendly and professional throughout our visit. The facility is clean and welcoming with a comforting environment. The wait time was minimal. The practitioner was friendly and compassionate! My son received his sports physical needed for school without issue! I will continue to visit AFC for My family healthcare needs.
I highly recommend the AFC Lansdale location, for any medical urgent care needs. I came into the location for my 12yr old son, who had a bad cold for over a week. He unfortunately passed it to me as well but I was more concerned for my son’s health. He had also had a dog bite the evening prior. The receptionist was kind and extremely quick with getting us processed. The nurse took very good care of my son. She thoroughly went over all of his ailments with the kindness and care of a mother. She even noticed that I was sick as well and offered to get me set to be seen. Dr. Krueger was a mazing with great bedside manner. She gave my son fast and thoroughly service and then remembered to see me as well. This was my first visit to this location but I must say this will be my go to for our families urgent care needs.
