THIS PLACE WENT DOWNHILL!!!
Dr. Edward bedside is absolutely ridiculous! He informed me I had Covid without even hearing my chest or me say constantly I KNOW FOR A FACT I DONT HAVE COVID! This mmmff then ask me to Google my symptoms and isolate from people for 10
Days! Now this was the day before Thanksgiving.
I only went in there for a sore throat and cough. Since I was adamant about me not having Covid he sent me home with a HOME TEST! Due to them closing up! I took it in the parking lot (guess what) NO COVID!
I also went to the Emergency Room same night to get tested NO COVID!
I went back to office to report this misdiagnosis and demand a refund for the visit only to be promised an Office Manager by the name of VANESSA would be calling me! Vanessa never called! I followed up
With the staff after a week for one lady to who
Actually performed the nose Covid test told me VANESSA WASNT GOING TO CALL ‘ WHY DID SHE NEED TO CALL. Like what’s the Big Deal! The other nurse text Vanessa right there and ask her to call me as of today NO CALL!
I plan on finding the OWNER OF THIS FACILITY!
No one should be treated like this! This use to be a GREAT OFFICE W NICE WORKERS I DONT know if they are under new mgmt but BEWARE!
We chose to come to this location, because in the past our experiences had been great. Today we were very disappointed. The receptionist was not welcoming at all, and acted like we were a bother. The initial nurse, Cam, that took us to our room was also very disinterested and rude when I asked her later why we had been waiting for 45 minutes even though we had an appointment. We were told that an appointment only gets your paperwork in the system; that they are a first come, first serve clinic. A nurse sitting with her was very apologetic and kind to us, even though we weren’t her patients. After almost an hour in the room, the doctor came in, examined my son for less than two minutes, and we were done. It all seemed very rushed and uncaring, aside for the one kind nurse… the only reason why I even gave 2 stars Not sure we will be back after such a disappointing visit.
I recently visited this urgent care facility with my toddler, and while I understand that busy days happen, the experience was frustrating and disappointing.
We were told the wait time would be around 30 minutes, but we ended up spending a total of 2 hours there. This was especially challenging with a sick toddler who was already uncomfortable and restless.
When we were finally seen by the doctor, the actual consultation lasted barely 5 minutes. The doctor seemed rushed and didn’t take much time to address our concerns thoroughly. While I appreciate that they may have been busy, the lack of time spent with us made the long wait feel even more unreasonable.
Urgent care is supposed to provide efficient and compassionate care, but this experience felt like the opposite. I hope the facility takes steps to improve their time management and patient communication because families with young children need better support during stressful medical situations.
Would I return? Only if there were no other options.
Mariana is very helpful and super kind! I walk in today for my little girl , so they need to check my insurance card how does it work! She hold on the line amost 40 mins and she find out somewhere work for my insurance but not here! I feel so bad for her! But she is very nice to help people! It is a good thing! Very good customer service here! She is so graceful. Thank you so much.
I will never go here again, and I will tell everyone I know to not go as well. I have taken my daughter a couple times, and returned because of friendly staff, and quick visits. (Despite one of the doctors prescribing a decongestant to a 2 year old which is a NO??)
After this last visit I am severely upset. Nurse practioner Ashley Wooderson and some of the staff have straight up either lied or are extremely incompetent!!
They never called me about my results, and when prying about them, they acted like Quest couldn't do it, and it needed to be redone. A girl put me on the phone with the NP and she said I was tested and negative with ** in the clinic. Something PA Edward said wasn't tested there.
That didn't sit well with me, so the following Monday I called and asked for my paperwork. Sure enough, they NEVER tested me for what I needed to be tested for!! She literally lied to me.
I then called and kindly asked if I could come back and get tested for what I was supposed to be and by 2 different people I got 1. Let me ask manager and call you back (she didn't) and 2. It has to be within 3 days of initial visit.
I was given managers email in which I never got a call or email back. I wasted $150? To not get properly evaluated.
Doctors are supposed to "do no harm" yet I was lied to and a serious diagnosis that can cause infertility was overlooked. I was indeed positive unlike the NP said when I went to my gynecologist.
So, not only incompetence here but also no care to rectify a error.
I am very glad I found this urgent care. I went to see the doctor last week and this is from now on my go to clinic in the Katy/Fulshear area. Very kind staff, both Doctors are great, kind, knowledgeable and very professionals. They treated me well and got my prescriptions sent immediately to my pharmacy. Everything was smooth and fast. I was in and out within 45 minutes with a great quality of care. They were in network with BCBS with it is must for me. Next day I got a call from the office to follow up on how I was doing. This is great !
I recently visited AFC Urgent Care and was thoroughly impressed with the quick and efficient service I received. From the moment I walked in, the staff was friendly and attentive. The check-in process was seamless, and I didn't have to wait long to be seen by a healthcare professional. The doctor was knowledgeable, compassionate, and addressed all my concerns with care. The facility was clean and well-organized, which added to the overall positive experience. I highly recommend AFC Urgent Care for anyone in need of prompt and professional medical attention. Thank you for the excellent service!
Visited on 9/28/24. I was called back quickly, but all interactions with the triage nurse were cold. She barely said anything. She took a nose swab for a COVID test and said something about 15 minutes, then walked out. 45 minutes later, the PA came in. He did not wash his hands, but did put on gloves. He was thorough with the exam, explained he was going to send prescriptions to the pharmacy and walked out. I wasn't sure what to do, was the nurse coming back? I went to the check out window and had to get the attention of the receptionist since she was watching videos on her phone. She said I was good to go, but that was a bit strange since she didn't have any of my records in front of her. My prescriptions were sent to the pharmacy. I guess I'll find out later how much I owe.
The PA was good, but the other staff I encountered was unprofessional. While waiting in the patient care room, I noticed that the floor was dirty, the countertop around the sink was stained with water spots and didn't appear to have been cleaned recently.
I chose this location because of the reviews, but I was disappointed. I will choose a different urgent care next time.
