I booked an “appointment” for 12:00pm. I arrived just before noon and filled in all paperwork. I then waited for two hours to be seen. So this part, not so good! Why bother booking anything!
When I finally got to a room I had to wait some more, only half hour this time.
When I finally was seen all was good, this part I would give at least four stars. I’m glad I went but the waiting when you are sick is tough…
Everyone at Urgent Care was very friendly and nice. We came in as a walk-in patient with my son who fractured his thumb. They took him right in and gave him great care. The nurses, NP and doctor were great!
Upon checking in I let the receptionist know that they had my birth date wrong and I wasn’t able to change it on line. They assured me it would be changed. The next info I had to submit also had the wrong date. Again we’ll change it now. When the discharge papers came in they still had the wrong date.
I waited over an hour in the exam room until I asked a nurse “how much longer”. She was surprised the provider hadn’t seen me yet.
Sent a debt collector after me for a $35 bill that they claim to have been sending to me for the past 2 years to my old address, but I know the current tenant and they’ve received no mail from them. Still have not received the bill in writing or in email. No idea what it’s for, and have no correspondence of it ever. They have my phone on file.
Just watch out because they might send collections after you without giving you any warning that you have a balance!
My experience yesterday was very good. The staff was professional and efficient. I had registered online before arriving. Once at the facility the entire visit took only about 1/2 hour. A prescription was sent to a local Walgreens. We were back on our vacation route in no time.
The care I received at AFC urgent care was much better than expected for an urgent care facilities that I have been to in the past. I was seen by a qualified NP and nursing staff that went above and beyond to care for laceration on my elbow and head. I received 10 stitches and 4 staples and instructions on how to care for my wounds until the stitches come out. The Staff were very helpful and were focused on my needs. I will definitely return to AFC urgent care in the future.
I arrived at 12:30 and wasn't seen until 1:30 despite there only 2 people ahead on the waitlist. They told me I was fine but I begged for a chest x ray. They said no until I said I'm the one paying and I know something is wrong, I need a chest x-ray. Finally, they gave me one and turned out I had pneumonia in my lower left lung. Doctor said "well you looked fine!" and prescribed me some antibiotics.
Out of four of the AFC Urgent cares I’ve visited with my two children, the Clemson location is by FAR my favorite. Rosemarie and Dr Barker were SO kind, patient, understanding and lighthearted with my sick 3 year old! They truly cared about everything, listened to him ramble and made sure every worry of mine was reassured! They weren’t rushing us out of the office, but made sure we were seen quickly and still made the most of the time we had together! I cannot rave enough about how wonderful the ladies we interacted with were!
