People are nice and pleasant. It was easy to schedule appointment on line. I got in later than the appointment time but I had paperwork to fill out that I could have done before I got there. It’s a nice clean place easy to get to. I will say everything was pretty much done on my phone so someone that doesn’t do a lot of phone like older people- they may want to bring someone to help them.
AFC urgent care (at Cherrydale) was a wonderful experience. 10/10 would recommend! Everyone from the lady working the front desk, to the nurse, to the nurse practitioner were all incredibly nice and efficient. I was in & out within an hour (that includes the time it took to complete all the check in paperwork). The staff is incredible .
Had to do a Bat and random drug test for my employer. Got in and was seen rather quickly. Angela was the nurse who performed the testing and did a wonderful job explaining each step of the process.
The nurse practitioner who saw me had also seen me on a prior medical issue. And, just like that one, she got this one right. I was starting to feel better after just a few hours of taking the prescribed antibiotics and taking a long nap. Woke up this morning feeling a ton better.
The male doctor for this facility has a five star review. But I've never seen a male doctor. I've had good experiences as far as being seen. But a 2 hour wait up front is ridiculous when no one else is waiting. Like are they just in back shooting the bull when I have a sick child waiting to be seen. It's always like a 2 hour wait!!
Was there for a drug screening, and sat there for 2 and a half hours. People that came after me got seen before me. Urinating in that cup took me 2 minutes max. 2 and a half hour wait for 2 minutes...Was very frustrating. My now boss missed her lunch because she was waiting on me to be done. Very professional once they got me back there, but for a total of 6 people not counting the 2 that came after me getting seen before me, but I digress. 2/10. They only got one star because of the professionalism.
I cut my finger on a kitchen knife.
Brandi, NP was proficient in suturing it and then later removing the sutures. She and her staff were friendly and personable. Would recommend this office to everyone.
I only seek medical attention if it’s unavoidable. Today, it was. I had to go to the Cherrydale Bon Secours AFC Urgent Care for a broken bone. The care and compassion I was shown by the nurse, Angela Fowler and Nurse Practitioner, Donna Marling, was a beautiful thing! Thank you both for making my visit a pleasant one. You have definitely chosen the perfect career path!
