After a painful accident in which a boiling hot plate of soup was spilled on my shoulder, I was rushed to Urgent Care for treatment. From the moment I arrived, the staff went above and beyond to provide compassionate, efficient care. They were not only professional but also welcoming and positive, which made a difficult situation much more manageable. I am truly grateful for the exceptional service I received. Thank you to the entire team for your outstanding care, you’re truly making a real difference!
My eyelid had been irritated and swollen for two day and we were preparing to leave for a week so I wanted to get my eye checked out. We walked in and were immediately welcomed. After completing the “paperwork” online, it was about 15-20 minute wait. Staff was friendly and attentive. The attending practitioner explained what he observed and what his thoughts were. He provided an antibiotic prescription as a precaution and I as on my way. Total time onsite was about an hour and a half. Almost as fast as a scheduled doctors appointment, faster than some.
Went there about a month ago for a foreign object I’d gotten stuck in my toe. They numbed my toe and made a minor incision and told me they got it out and prescribed me antibiotics and an antibiotic ointment. Cool. The pain subsided, but not fully and although I finished the regimen of antibiotics and it was no longer oozing pus, it was still oozing a semi clear liquid and was refusing to heal which I found odd but I thought it was just taking longer to heal since I work in health care myself and I’m always on my feet. I just tried my best to keep it clean and dry. Eventually though, the pain came back and it was very sharp and persistent. I had to walk on the side of my foot for days to avoid the sharp pain that would shoot through my foot. Recently I did some digging of my own, playing surgeon and I pulled out an almost half inch piece of METAL out of my toe! Only now has the pain subsided and healing has began. (Hindsight 2020 I shouldn’t have waited so long to check what was going on for myself) The 2 stars is only because the staff was very nice, professional and made me feel comfortable and at ease while there. I waited so long to check myself because I had trust in their judgement since they’re the doctors, but this was just heavily disappointing. The healing process could have been much easier for me had they paid closer attention. (Put the chapstick for size reference)
Seriously so great! All staff was amazing, front desk staff 10/10, nurse 10/10, doc 10/10!!! My 3 year old came in with eye infection and I had my other kiddos with me. They were all so sweet, patient and interacted with kids to make them comfortable! Thank you for excellent service! Will go here from now on!
My daughter went to the AFC on Garth tonight 11/15/24. Susan the Nurse Practitioner was rude and even laughed at my daughter because she only has liquid Tylenol at home and took that. If you wouldn’t have been rude and would’ve listened to what she was saying, that’s what she was trying to tell you ???? yes she can take pills but she’s sick that’s all she had! You were as useful as a $3 bill thanks for nothing.
You need to brush up on your bedside manner lady and be compassionate! You chose this job… to help the sick. That doesn’t always involve a prescription! Kindness goes a long way, try it sometime.
Recently visited this urgent care. Friendly greeting from reception and she was very helpful. I do not remember her name. Waited 10 minutes and the nurse called us back. Waited about 5 min in the room before NP Brian came in. He was friendly and listened to me. Asked me questions. Explained my options for my health care and I was on my way. Great experience other than personally not feeling well. Was here 2weeks ago with my daughter and experienced the same friendly atmosphere and helpful service.
I went in with an infection around my fingernail. It was swollen and painful. Brian was very compassionate and made sure I didn't hurt more. He did a wonderful job.
The Hispanic lady in the front office is really rude and its not the first time me and my kids have been there. She talks to people with an attitude. Other than that its a good place to walkin and see a Doctor.
