Great place and very family friendly. My family really enjoyed it here. We stayed in one of the tent sites which was level and well maintained. Bathrooms are great. We love the pools. Can be a bit noisy at night as people tend to party way past quiet hours and the constant sounds of golf carts driving by. Bring earplugs if you want to sleep. We'll definitely return.
We had another family reunion camping trip!
This place offered more than other places we had stayed in the past. The staff was really awesome and amazing, they help us most our games,Being safe to others campers on site. The pool and water slide were great for the kids. The camp store was great for everything you needed. Our family enjoyed the entire camp experience! Thank you for the staff and owners for great hospitality and services. We are planning to return back for another bash !
My family and I have been loyal visitors to Adventure Bound for the past 5 years, but after this recent trip, we won’t be returning. Our experience this time was nothing short of horrible.
First, the pool situation was incredibly frustrating. It closes way too early, and when it is open, it’s freezing cold—not what you expect when you’re trying to relax on vacation.
To make matters worse, we were harassed and reported out by some drunk guests who came onto my site WITH alcohol because of my three service dogs. They even verbally yelled at a minor. Crazy. The same drunks yelled and screamed throughout the night, completely ruining any chance of a peaceful evening.
The place itself has gotten dirty over the years, and every morning, you’re jolted awake by a loud train passing by.
The staff was incredibly rude, showing little to no concern for the issues we raised. My cousin even had a terrifying experience when a random guy almost barged in on her in the showers. How is that even possible in a supposedly family-friendly place?
The grounds are overcrowded with kids running everywhere and golf carts zooming around, making it a hazard just to walk around. It ended up hitting my aunts car and making a dent. It’s very stressful for not just humans but yet animals. You really have to watch your step.
People here aren’t outa controllably drunk but also racist. The manger Arthur, is disrespectful and a judge lair. He said a service dog of ours bit him yet again that dog has no teeth old and close to death.
Also bathrooms total garbage. Pee all over the seats and there’s poop smudges all over inside.. some toilets in the boys were Literally clogged. The bathrooms smelled so bad I almost threw up.
Did I bring up the fact that the site next to me had a 9 year old doing inappropriate dances?
We have to get lawyers involved in order just to get a refund when my aunt was being reasonably nice. This place sucks.
It’s a shame to see a place we once loved go downhill so fast. We can here to feel near my uncles favorite campsite and my cousins dad who just passed away. Including the fact that my aunt spent over thousands of dollars on this “vacation” a peaceful vacation turned into one of the worst of a lifetime We won’t be back.
Had a great time! Our cabin was super clean with everything we needed. Arthur and staff were genuinely friendly and helpful. The band was amazing too! The best thing is Adventure Bound is very dog friendly! We took our two puppies for the first time with us, and they had a great time!
I have brought my daughter to Adventure Bound for 8 years and she always asks to come back. Their splash pad and pool are her favorite. The cabins are so cute and always clean. Every morning we enjoy a train ride from the enthusiastic owner! We have always had a pleasant experience and will continue to return.
Was here for work and they guaranteed us that we could stay over Labor Day since we had already been there several weeks. Assured me making alternative reservations wasn’t necessary. Then day of, they kick us out with no leads, no explanation nothing.
Furthermore this place needs a serious renovation. Basic maintenance needed as well. Things literally falling apart and dangerous.
Loud music and screaming kids until 10pm
The only positive was the guys in the snack shack. I tipped them well but screw the rest of this place it was so bad.
I loved staying at this campground. The staff went above and beyond to help us because the campsite we picked on the website was a hill and to level the RV was hard to accomplish. But they let us park sideways and gave us all the extensions we needed, while also helping us set everything up.
The two pools and the inflatable slide are awsome. They always have activities and my kids enjoyed it.
This was my second time staying there and we are definitely always coming back.
My family and I spent 3 nights here at the beginning of August and absolutely loved it! We stayed at lot # 10 by the river and had quick access to everything. My nieces loved the splash pad and slide, husband, best friends and I loved the hot tub, and we all loved the pool and river! Everyone that we came into contact with while at the park were wonderful and very helpful! We are hoping to travel back again next year!!
