My family of 6 loves this campground! We just went this past weekend for the second year. This year was the first time we stayed in a cabin, and I was impressed with how clean and beautiful the cabin was. You have to bring all your own bedding and towels, which kinda stunk, because it added a lot to all the stuff we already had to pack and bring. But on the plus side, you're using all your own stuff. The kitchen had everything we needed, except for a grill brush to clean the outside grill, which we were able to purchase at the campground store. It had pots, pans, plates, bowls, silverware, glasses, coffee mugs, cooking utensils, coffee maker, microwave, toaster, etc. and the kitchen was very clean! The entire cabin was very clean. Two cons I can say about the cabin was that it sleeps 6 people, but the kitchen table only had 4 chairs. We are a family of 6, so it would have been nice to have 6 chairs, but we made do. Not a big deal that would keep me from reserving a cabin again. Also, there was not much parking space at our specific cabin, but I did see other cabins that had a lot more parking space, so I will just be reserving a different cabin for next year. We rented a golf cart for the whole weekend, which was really great to have. My kids loved riding on it and we had no issues with it. All of the staff we dealt with were very nice and helpful. My kids had a really good time at the pool and the water slides, even I enjoyed the water slides :) It was extremely crowded at the pool on Saturday (to be expected) but we also stayed Sunday overnight and my kids had the pool all to themselves on Sunday night! My kids also enjoyed the live band, playground, basketball court and RC car dirt track. There is so much to do there, and they always have activities planned on the weekends. They have a big playground near the pool and then a smaller one that is back in the middle of the campsites. It would be nice if the store was open later on Sundays-Thursdays, it's only open until 5 pm those days. The Wifi worked better for us this year than it did last year. But even if it didn't work well, I don't consider that a downside for me, because it's nice to unplug, get your face out of your phone and just spend quality time with your family! Overall, we love this campground and will definitely be returning again next summer!
We've been bringing our son here for 5+ years and we always have a fantastic time! We stay in the deluxe cabins and rent a golf cart to get around easily. My son loves the pool, the water slides, the swim-up snack bar, the mini-golf, and gem mining!
We had a fantastic time. All of the staff members were so welcoming and helpful. It's a great place for kids of all ages with lots of activities. The only thing I would suggest is more comfortable seating in the cabins. They sleep 6 but the one and only sofa seats two comfortably, maybe more if they're small children.
The resort was very nice. The pools were great and friendly. The kids loved the slides and splash pad.
The pond was hard to navigate as there is only a half side of it able to be used for fishing.
Cabins were clean. The picnic tables cannot be moved from their location on the patio as they are anchored into the ground.
The parks were nice. The event of the reptiles was nice. I got to hold a snake.
You have to pay per person for the putt putt.
The only issues I have are the lack of car parking, the wifi is not really good as it cut out a lot of times on our phones and on the TV streaming, and there was rock sweeping or something loud at 830am this morning waking everyone up in my area. Large machineary and rock rake. The lodge lots are a lot smaller than other Adventure Bound Camping sites. It would have been hard to have a safe fire pit and park a car. Luckily our neighbors were family and we could park there and all hang out at our spot.
It seems the swim up food bar is only open on Saturday's.? Definitely was not open Wed, Thursday, or Friday. There was definitely lost $ from not opening on Friday. It was super busy. It was not open when we left Sunday.
Thank you for the stay ABC!
Over all, it's a nice place to go camping. We rented one of the RVs that is available to stay in. Quite nice and comfortable. Our only concern with the unit we stayed in, was the location. The lot next to us had seasonal campers that had a cabana built, and it was virtually almost against the back side of our unit. Which is just outside of the bedroom area. I don't degrudge anyone from enjoying themselves, but there is a policy in place for quite time starting at 11:00pm . Evidently they are above campground policies. Our first two nights they talked and made noise till 12:30. First time, the grandson went and ask them to quite down. Next night, had to call security. Nice place to stay, other than that.
We stayed in a RV rental and it slept 5 very good. The RV itself was very nice, could use some more kitchen stuff and I didn't bring everything so had to buy some stuff at the camp store which was pretty annoying! Our neighbors on the 1 side was VERY inconsiderate when it came to quite time at 11 and partied till after 12:30, I get its all about unwinding and having fun but be more considerate to other campers. I did call security and apparently these campers are " well known" and are regulars! I guess they cater to certain people!! My grandkids had trouble falling asleep. The campground offered a nice game room and ceramic and bingo which a little pricy on the bingo. But we're fun. The slides at the pool need updating BAD, every seam was painful to go down. All In all a nice campground but I doubt we'll go back. The RV was pretty pricy
This is one of our absolute favorite campgrounds. The kids love the water park and pools. There are so many activities from gaga ball, an arcade, mini golf, volleyball, a playground, fishing, the pool and theme weekend held events. The dj and live music add to the nightly entertainment. We have tent camped, rented the cabins, rented the RV and stayed in our friends RV. The sites are level, provide plenty of room and are close to the activities. Golf carts are available as well for rent.
My family had an awesome time for a 3 day stay! The staff was tremendous, and they plenty of activities to keep the kids busy and happy. Even had a band that came and rocked out during a thunderstorm!! Will definitely be staying here again.
