I had a great experience at this urgent care today. The staff was incredibly quick and professional. Ashley, the nurse, was amazing—she checked my blood with such care and precision. She has the softest hands, making the process quick and painless. Dr. Michael Pang was also very kind and attentive. I appreciated how efficiently everything was handled, and I’m so glad I was able to get all my tests done in such a professional manner. Hoping for good results, but I’m definitely happy with the care I received!
Doctor Kelly was very helpful, and so was everybody in the office receptionist and the medical assistant are very kind and courteous. I was in so much pain from a mistake that somebody else had done, I did what Doctor Kelly had told me to do.Took the meds everything and when I woke up in the morning I could speak clearly. And there wasn't that up much pain, and I started feeling better.
I've always gone to Portland Adventist. Urgent care and the doctors downstairs on a 122nd and a Halsey. I lived further out, but I chose to stay with them. They've always taken good care of me, and I thank you all very much for doing that at Portland Adventist. I recommend that whoever needs help to go, you'll be very happy. Especially when you're in a time of need which I was thank you so much.Thank you Doctor Kelly for helping me in understanding Sofia Gonzales ❤️
I scheduled an appointment for 1:40pm. I arrived at 1:30 and checked in. I waited for an hour to be called to the back. While I was waiting, I checked the appointment verification. It said my appointment was for 2:10 with a 2:20 start time. I wasn’t called back until 2:40. The MA was curt and seemed disapproving of my service dog. Later, after I had seen the doctor, the door was open and I heard the MAs complaining about the number of patients that were scheduled to come in over the rest of the afternoon. I was not impressed. It made me feel as if I was imposing on their time. The doctor, on the other hand, was quite pleasant and greeted me and my service dog gladly. The fact that my check in and appointment times had been changed was very upsetting.
All of my nurses have been such a great help and very nice. Honestly the whole staff have been great and I appreciate them all for their hard work and support to get me back to a clean bill of health!
Staff is callous and not equipped for those of us who are not ambulatory. Heard the nurses mocking deaf people, part of hearing people, old people, people with dementia, etc. Truly feel worse after my experience here and will be warning everybody I know about this urgent care. It's hard to believe that the staff is here to support people getting better, hoping people who are disabled avoid this place like the plague.
The office was clean and the staff professional and caring. It's great you can schedule a time slot so you don't have to sit in a waiting room for 8 hrs before you're called back. It's very unfortunate though that Adventist stance on pain medication seems to be that pain doesn't exist, I was too afraid to even ask, but according to the words on their pain chart I was 7-8 on the scale. My visit to Adventist Family Medicine SE with Dr Hilary Gerber traumatized me so much I'm too afraid to ask for help. Do not go see her! She's likely the worst dr I ever met in my 54 yrs
On October 18, 2024, I went to the OHSU/Adventist ER because I had severe diarrhea. I appreciated Dr. Michael Petrovich and everyone working at that time for doing a great job. I only waited 10 minutes before being called in for a pre-check. They responded quickly and took good care of me.
The doctor that I saw today was so amazing. She validated how I was feeling and really cared about helping me get better. She also shave me a RX card because she “didn’t like the price” of one of the prescriptions she was giving me. THANK YOU DR. KELLY!!!
