Dr. Bekker is an amazing doctor, she is very knowledgeable and compassionate. She always answers my questions and makes me feel comfortable and confident. She has been my doctor for about 10 years now and I trust her with my health and well being. Dr. Bekker is truly the BEST!!
I strongly advise against visiting this clinic for immigration medical exams. They only accept cash payments, which raises concerns about their practices. It feels like they are taking advantage of people by insisting on cash payments and intentionally delaying the completion of required forms, forcing individuals to give up while they pocket the money.
This clinic has been the worst experience for me. They insisted I get a Hepatitis B vaccine, which seemed entirely unnecessary and caused significant delays in my process. I’ve heard from others that their vaccine requirements has not been so strict—up to five in total—compared to what is typically asked.
To make matters worse, the staff is incredibly inefficient. The front desk personnel are unable to properly read and verify the vaccination forms, even when all the necessary information is clearly provided. Their inefficiency is frustrating and can derail an already stressful process. Avoid this place at all costs.
My first visit experience in the office was very satisfied. Waiting time was not bad at all. Everyone was very pleasant.
I want to express my dissatisfaction with the staff at the reception. I am very struck by their unfriendliness and lack of competence. Every time I come for an appointment, they always respond aggressively, and it feels like I’m not visiting a medical facility but rather going to their home asking for help. This is truly unpleasant and very disappointing, as their behavior makes me lose the desire to return.
The staff are friendly, and the doctor is knowledgeable and patient. I highly recommend this office. While there may be occasional wait times, you can use this time to read a book, watch a movie on your device, or simply sit in silence and appreciate your good health and well-being.
I’ll be honest. Dr. Faina Akselrod doesn’t seem to be professional at all. I went to see her for the second opinion, and I really needed her help, but she was aloof and uninterested. She’s probably a «good doctor» only in the case of a regular checkup, like taking the Pap smear (not being gentle, by the way), sonogram, blood work, basically with anything just to charge your insurance. However, if you have some serious issue, concern or question she’s not going to help you for sure! She lacks knowledge, and she has this kind of energy “Do whatever you want to, see another doctor, or get out of my office, I need to leave”. She was calm, but the issue was not resolved. I was not satisfied and very disappointed with this Dr. and her service. I will never see her again. Do not recommend her. Only a waste of my time.
This office is just awful. I give them -100 stars. I do not know how they get any good reviews. I am absolutely appalled with doctor Akselrod and her staff's behavior. To start her front desk staff verbally and emotionally abused me for no reason. I am a young girl who doesnt have a lot of experience going to the gyno and I would expect the staff at the office to recognize that and at least be friendly and welcoming. To my surprise they were the opposite of that and they have traumatized me. It has been a while since this happened and I unfortunately did not have time to write this review until now, but I am still upset. I had no option but to call the front desk because I needed certain documents and information regarding my health which by the way is urgent to me. They not only blatantly refused to give me my documents multiple times (which they are not allowed to do by law) they also chose to verbally abuse me. I asked the lady on the phone to be nicer to me and asked her why she's being rude and why i deserved that. I am always very nice and so patient and understanding because I work front desk myself. She continued to be passive aggressive with me and further in my opinion again emotionally abusive. Before encountering this urgent health matter and needing to contact the office I came for regular check ups and it was ok. The doctor was always emotionless, i never saw her smile, and it always seemed like i was wasting her time. She was fine as a doctor, but that was always weird to me. Now, after trying to communicate my concerns to her and being clearly in distress she told me she has to go which is kind of understandable as she has patients to see but she didnt even take one minute to apologize. And she and her staff are yet to apologize to me or call me and check up on me after sending me to another specialist. Also I went to another doctor recently and brought them Dr.akselrods notes from my previous visit to her where they found something important in my results that dr.aksekrod did not tell me about. I will be reporting her and i do not recommend anyone go to this office. They do not care about you, Dr.akselrod does not care, in fact she is happy with how her staff treats her patients because they keep them away from her and keep them from waisting her time. In my opinion they are just bad people. I really hope to never encounter people like this again.
