I have been going to Advanced Dermatology for well over 10 years. I was just in this week to see Jodie Holmes. She is AMAZING!! She is personable, caring, & a fantastic dermatologist. My oldest daughter & I have had to have MANY basal cell carcinomas detected & removed and Jodie has kept us cancer free. Dr. Patel is wonderful too! If you want a cheerful- polite-caring dermatology group that will take care of you from the front desk personnel to the doctors & surgeons- go to Advanced Dermatology! Germantown & Arlington offices are the best!!
I had an appointment with Dr Hinders and was so happy with the entire experience. I was not having a very good day and the ladies at the front desk where super helpful getting me to the right building, they were super sweet and understanding on the phone and even more sweet and respectful in person! I needed the smile they put on my face today!
Dr Hinder's assistant was also so very sweet and helpful. As was Dr Hinder.
Kindness goes a long way and these young ladies truly turned my frown upside down today. They will never understand the gift they gave me today!
I visited to seek help for my acne and scarring, but my experience left much to be desired. Natalie Morgan spent barely five minutes in the room, offering only generic advice and no real consultation. Instead, I was simply prescribed antibiotics and sent on my way. When I tried to discuss the effects of these medications on my body, I was met with yet another prescription rather than any meaningful conversation. I raised concerns about my scarring, only to have them disregarded and told to "just use more." After being on these medications for over a year, I can't see how this approach is helping me. The front desk staff, however, is genuinely kind and cheerful, which was one positive aspect of the visit.
Very busy practice. Worst thing was parking in Olive Branch. As far as practice it was excellent. Clean offices. The nurses and office staff were excellent. Dr. Patel was very professional and helpful.
Only complaint was one of my meds got written on a TN pad and my local MS pharmacy couldn’t fill was supposed to be filled next day and it didn’t.
I highly recommend Advanced Dermatogy's Olive Branch location. It's a beautiful facility with a top-notch staff. They are all very personable and professional. My visit went quickly with every step explained before it happened. This was my first visit, and I'm definitely impressed!
My first time ever going to a dermatologist and if I could give more than 5 stars, I would! I came in early to get paperwork done and within 5 minutes I was seen. Everyone from front desk to the back was so incredibly thorough and polite. Will be coming there for any issues moving forward! <3
My daughter had an appointment with Venegas. She walked in the room as if she didn’t want to be there, very rude and dry. She never even walked up to look at my daughter closely. She literally stood against the counter with her arms folded for the entire 3 minute appointment. I’m not sure if she is racist or just simply has a sense of entitlement, but I definitely would not book an appointment with her! “Doctors” that call themselves treating you without even touching you or examining you thoroughly, should not be practicing medicine in my opinion. She gave such basic advice, things a 5 year old knows about skincare.
On a positive note, the front desk girls had excellent customer service! Also, we normally see Jennifer in Arlington who is great!! I wish we had just waited another week for an appointment with her because Venegas in Germantown is NOT IT!! I hope she reads this and maybe considers finding another career choice!
Front desk staff at Germantown location was incredibly kind and welcoming. I wish I had gotten one of the ladies names, as she was just a genuinely happy and kind person—it made a great impression. From there, both the MA and PA were patient, listened to my concerns, and were very thorough.
