If I could give zero stars I would. I scheduled an appointment to see a doctor and made it very clear I want a seasoned provider. When I got there I was given a PA the same PA that I was unsatisfied with when I took my daughter last year. The PA Shira Enrlich refused to see my dawned I asked if my daughter could see a dermatologist is one was in the office. She said I am a Dermotology said she this is the field she’s been working in this field for a long time. No No shira! You are a PA and the call center don’t know what the hell they are doing. The person who booked my so is a jerk too. She said she was booking me w a docter. She made that clear to me. She ever said she feels good about my appointment because I’m getting a doctor that has lots of experience. I that’s this place. My daughter took off school for this appointment and this is not right. The PA say my child itching her skin w rashes all over and said she doesn’t feel comfortable seeing my 6 year old because I may not be happy with her service. I said to her since I’m here let see if the cream or medication you prescribed helps then I can leave a good review. She made the decision to tell me No she will no see her. You are a crappy person and have no heart or empathy. You must not have children.
I have been going to this location for over 2 years and have ran into the same issues with them 4x. They often book me on a Wednesday at the Franklin square location when the office is not open. It is incredibly inconvenient and no one seems to know why it’s happening, if I don’t show up they charge a fee but when I do show up they actually closed and forgot to book patients for the proper appointment time. I called multiple times and the only answer I can get is that they will look into it. They need a better appointment booking system so they are not scheduling appointments when the office is closed, therefore wasting my time.
The Franklin Square location is the worst . Avoid it at any cost. They wasted my 3 months to get botox delivered from the pharmacy to the clinic. The office manager Michelle has the worst attitude, she should learn some basics how to deal with the patients. She chose this job for herself not anyone . My botox injections were approved, everything was done but because of their negligence and not willing to work, I couldn’t get it. You are getting paid for the job then get it done instead of being rude to the patients. They are the worst.
I went last Monday and saw NP Sharon, I showed her something on my body that was red and irritated. She said it looked like a cyst and that she would give me a topical. The receptionist said to wait about an hour before picking it up at the Walgreens pharmacy. I went after 2 hours and they said they never heard from the office, and did not get the prescription. I called the office from there and the receptionist told me that Sharon must have forgotten to call it in and that she would message her. The next day I waited till the end of the day, went back to Walgreens, and still nothing. The website said the office is open on Tuesday till 6:45 PM so I stopped by to try and find out what was happening and at 4PM the office was closed. However, I knocked on the door (I guess they keep someone there to answer the phone) and someone came out and I told them I never got the prescription. She said she would tell the office manager and that someone would call me. Now, it has been one week and still no prescription (I went again to Walgreens today and same result)
and still no call from the office. This whole thing has been so disappointing. You don't expect this level of incompetence from a medical office. I have wasted so much time and energy dealing with this. I will NEVER go back there.
I have greatly debated whether to even post my review, but I want other POC to stay away from NP Sharon, I was seen on 1/15/24, and it was a horrible experience. From someone who has worked in the healthcare field for over 10 yrs, I felt disappointed from the minute the provider walked in the room. The assistant and front desk staff were nice, but the provider was a different story. The 1st thing she did when she came into the room was sit at the computer with a huff. The whole reason for the appt was because my daughter has patches that look like psoriasis to me. After looking at them for about a min. She tells me she is unsure of what it is and that my daughter may need a biopsy. She seemed a bit fast to suggest a biopsy so soon for a new pt that is 12 yrs old to me, but then she then proceeded to tell us that she couldn't tell if there was any redness. Basically pointing out the difference in complexion which you can see feom profile pic that i do not have a dark complexion and my daughter is very similar, and to me, it sounded a bit ignorant. Why not keep those thoughts to yourself and maybe recommend a 2nd opinion? I didn't want my daughter to notice and feel the disrespect so I tried to continue to push the visit along by asking questions where I was cut off before finishing my sentence to her saying "it's all covered by your insurance " which felt condescending to me. I say all this just as a warning for others. I apologize if I mentioned the wrong provider but she was young and had long blonde hair. I do not need to be contacted and dont wish to pursue this any further. Just be aware that not all providers are created equally.
I am so grateful my friend recommended this place to me . So professional on all levels and comfortable. Very clean . The staff are incredible. I felt the attention I got was phenomenal. Dr Melissa Sanoff and her team are fantastic. Would definitely recommend to my friends and family .
This location is awesome.. appointments easy to make , you’re seen on time ,staff is friendly and pleasant.. doctor knows his stuff .. took care of my problems. Thank you . Highly recommend
As a new patient, my daughter and I loved Advanced Dermatology and Melissa Sanoff-Wiener. It was so easy to book an appointment online. Melissa was great with my daughter and we were very happy with the whole experience. I would definitely recommend them.
