So I had been here before to see one specific doctor who was great at the time. I had a pressing matter handled and a prescription for another. perfect right? I returned several months later to refill that and get another check-up because one matter resurfaced. I went up to the desk and was told my appointment had been rescheduled and the lady at the desk (an older woman with short hair whose name I didn't get, no name tags, funny how that works) was so mean and rude to me, she snapped at me when I hesitated and condescended me when I was confused and hurt. I left the office in tears, the only reason I'm not giving one star is because I went back in and spoke to another lady (a woman with long brown hair) She helped me to be seen by another doctor. (who was great by the way) The matter I went in for was handled but I won't be going here alone again.
Good service, not very clear about cream medicated sent as treatment to an online pharmacy., not even giving option to have the cream sent to my cvs pharmacy. Staff attentive ; nice clinic
I feel lucky I found them for sure. The visit went well and there wasn't much of a wait. Doctor was great. They also do their own blood draws and you don't have to go to a third-party place to get it done. That's a big advantage since I only need to do one trip and not two.
Nice office, good staff. Always a wait to see the provider. Lobby is not nice. Old ripped up chairs, yet the rest of the office is really nice. Seems like they could improve the waiting room...a lot.
I met with a dermatologist from another practice which was unsatisfactory. I made an appointment with Advanced Dermatology the next day. The difference in appointments was like night and day. The PA at Advanced Dermatology identified my problem (a cyst), removed it, patched me up and sent me on my merry way. She was so warm and attentive to my needs.
I don't feel that the medical staff prioritizes helping their clients. I've been coming here almost every 2 weeks in the past 3 mo hts because of a severe dermatitis which is very itchy and uncomfotable. In this condition, I am looking for immediate relief. But getting the medical assistants to send over the doctor's prescription takes some time, and I have to follow up several times just for them to send the prescription. In my most recent visit, I asked for a prescription for scalp sebhoreic dermatitis. It's been 2 days and 2 follow-up calls, and I'm still waiting for this clinic to submit a request for prior authorization to my insurance. My insurance said they will approve as soon as they get it, but it has to come from the doctor. Very frustrating!
The newer blond front desk receptionist is snooty towards a certain demographic of patients. She was cold and terse with me when she was checking me out. The usual friendly woman whose main job it is to check patients out was not in. I miss the professionalism of the previous front desk staff.
I have been going here for around 9 years. Didn’t struggle with acne very much as a teen, but as an early adult it’s become quite a problem. I’ve had 4 appointments within the past year or so: not only has my acne not gotten any better, but it’s gotten much worse. I’ve done EXACTLY what I have been instructed to do. At this point, it seems as though they are just trying to take my money. Every appointment, the doctor takes a Quick Look (not even 10 seconds) at my skin, prescribes a seemingly random cream and calls it a day. I don’t plan on continuing to waste my money at this establishment, as I’ve already given them hundreds of my dollars for my skin to develop more acne than it had originally. I’m aware that healing acne is a process that takes time. However, I think 2 years is more than enough time and at this point I should at least see some sort of progress being made. We’re going in the opposite direction and at this point, I think it is time I take my business elsewhere.
