I don’t know how he stays in business. The phone is never answered. The voicemail box is usually full, but if you do leave a message, your call is not returned. Our insurance company has been trying to reach him for over a month to no avail. When we went in for an annual exam, there were three people sitting at the front desk. I have no idea why they can’t answer the phone.
This is the worst doctor I’ve ever encountered. I came here just to have my insulin prescriptions filled. He takes multiple days to fill prescriptions, tries to make you pay a co pay just to get blood results, refuses to email them to you, and will try to make you come in every 3 months just for him to fill prescriptions. There’s no communication from his office staff, his office is dirty with dead bugs on the ground, he is rude and so is his staff. I wish I could give this place 0 stars.
Plain and simple, stay away from Dr Adugba for various reasons. His staff is rude and unprofessional and have poor hygiene. Extremely important while Covid was in full swing. I called Adugba for a virtual visit just to be literally screamed at and and he ended the appointment prematurely and charged me ( I'm self pay) $154 and didn't receive anything and I'm very ill and need my medicine and due to his antics, I had to go another 30 days with no medicine which put me in the hospital. He is a licensed drug dealer to sum it up. He only wants you to use one pharmacy the one he's affiliated with. You can forget getting any results from any test he may send you to perform. He deserves negative stars.
BEWARE OF THIS DOCTOR. I went to see him for the first few months after moving to Denton, and he was accepting my temporary medical insurance. He's been reported. Not only would he order medications I didn't know about or need, like antibiotics for one, but he would say during an appointment he would call in refills for my long term medications that I would be low on, not call them in, then would yell at me to "see him on the day I was out of my medications", knowing very well just a few days before when I saw him he said he would refill them and I would be out by the weekend. So he yelled at me on Thursday over the phone when I called to ask about the Rxs he said he would call in, he wouldn't see me that day or Friday, and had to go 3 days with nothing (very dangerous to go cold turkey on the long term meds), had very significant side effects from not having them, and he finally saw me the next Tuesday, acting like nothing happened. I could have had seizures or worse, but he didn't care. He's VERY dangerous. You would do yourself a favor by seeing someone else.
Trust the reviews. I was looking for a PCP that my husband could see on a regular basis so I scheduled an appointment for September 10th for my husband. I wanted to believe that this place would work out. It was close to my home and I did not want to drive far with my hubby who was recovering from a 10 day stay in the hospital. There is so much I can say but it would be too long. I will just say trust the reviews it was a waste of money and time.
Thankfully I was able to find another family doctor who could see my husband and was very thorough and worked out perfectly for my husband.
Again trust the reviews
Terrible doctor with no bedside manner. Told me I had diabetes by yelling at me that I was going to die for not taking care of the diabetes that I didn’t even know I had(ie that he had just diagnosed). Badgered me to receive other treatments and shots that weren’t medically necessary. Office staff was terrible as well, little communication and no follow ups.
Dr Adugba is great. He is knowledgeable, attentive, very good adviser and perfect listener. He is my mother’s doctor for 6 years.
New patient paperwork contained zero questions about my previous medical history or current medications, and no one on staff ever asked about these vitally important things either. The staff is completely incompetent as well. I've been trying for four days to have them send off to my insurance for an authorization on a medication I'm out of and need very much. Every time I call the office to follow up on it, the two people who answer the phone act like it's the first time I've ever asked about it. They telle they're going to help and then do nothing as soon as the phone call ends. I won't be going back and I recommend that you run far far away.
