I had to bring my toddler with me during my first appointment and I was nervous about it. Some medical practices I’ve been to absolutely don’t want littles with you and make it very obvious they don’t. Every single person in the office was so sweet towards my little from the time we checked in to the time we left. He was upset to see me getting my blood pressure checked and the MA was so sweet to let him pump the bulb to help show him I wasn’t being hurt. An available MA also helped keep an eye on him so I could get blood drawn. I can’t begin to explain how much all of this meant to me.
The NP, Laura Kennedy was amazing! I felt seen and heard and she took my concerns seriously. She made a plan of care and made sure I was completely okay with it before implementing.
I’m so happy I found this practice.
Look no further, if you are looking for a place where you are heard and feel safe in the hands of your Dr, this is the facility you're looking for.
Adriatica has been my best experience with not only physicians, but an OB office (trust me I transferred here from a scary place).
Anyways, my Dr., Dr. Ashitey has been great from the first day I met her till now, she took care of my wellness checks, took care of my needs during my pregnancy, delivered my baby, and just many more. I could go on and on, but I have loved every experience and visit to Adriatica and have nothing but high regard for the comfort, professionalism, qualifications, and aura of this place and its medical professionals.

I've been a patient here for over a decade now and I must say they have really improved on the wait time. They even have a sign that says if you've been waiting for a long period of time let them know. Even when I moved to Dallas temporarily I happily commuted almost an hour to make my appointment. The staff are so friendly. One of the nurse practitioners helped my oldest daughter deliver her 2 babies who are now 12 and 6!
10000% recommend Adriatica Women’s Health. Love the fact the entire staff is all ladies. Female owned practice. The doctors care about you. Dr. Wajahat is a wonderful doctor, she takes her time, great bedside manners. She makes sure to answer all my questions and has a lovely personality. I enjoy my every visit to the clinic. The entire staff is so sweet. Dr. Halderman was my OB 4 years ago and I had a great experience with her as well. Grateful to have found this practice. The clinic doesn’t look like your typical doctor’s clinic it’s absolutely stunning inside.
I had an appointment with Jennifer Nuspel, NP today to follow up on my lab work. She genuinely cares about her patients. She listened to my concerns and provided the right treatment for my wants and needs. I would definitely recommend her to anyone seeking care.
I had a fantastic experience with Dr. Hannah Ashitey. She is extremely knowledgeable, compassionate, and made me feel comfortable throughout the entire visit. Her attention to detail and willingness to answer all my questions put my mind at ease. I truly appreciate her professionalism and the personal care she provided. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a gynecologist who genuinely cares for her patients.
I had a horrible experience with this office with every interaction/appointment. It started in June for my first appointment at the Prosper location. My initial appointment, we waited over an hour to be seen when we had an appointment. When it came time to pay, the amount they were requesting was over the amount initially quoted over the phone that we were not expecting. This became a normal occurance and I had many issues with the billing department. I was actually turned away from a sonogram that they requested to be completed because I could not pay the $150 upfront. After a sonogram was billed to my insurance, it came back that they was well over the amount I would have had to pay.
My appointment in July was at the McKinney location, where we then waited about 30 minutes to be seen. After this appointment, we recieved a letter in the mail that the midwife we were seeing, Holly, was leaving due to personal concerns and that her patients needed to find a new physcian. I started looking around McKinney for new midwives and was actually told by another office in McKinney that their office, Adriatica and the office I used with my first pregnancy were all managed by the same company. This then made perfect sense to me why I was having so many issues. I also had issues with the OB office w/ my first pregnancy. The level of "care" was not as expected and was very disappointing and this has been the case with Adriatica as well.
Despite my concerns, I was having trouble finding a midwife in McKinney so elected to continue with Adriatica. Upon my first interaction with the new midwife, it was not welcoming. She asked minimal questions and didn't give me any sign that she was interested in our appointment. This was a turn off considering bedside manner is very important to me and one of the main reasons I have decided to choose a midwife for this pregnancy.
After all the issues I had, I decided to not continue with this office. I had a horrible first birth experience and could tell how this was going. I actually decided to find a midwife outside of McKinney and would recommend everyone to do the same. I even had to reach out myself to have a refund check sent to me........ Yikes. Overall, horrible managment on all ends.
I transferred into Adriatica at around 32 weeks pregnant hearing only amazing things about the midwives. During my prenatal appointments Josie and Bri took the time to listen to me and answer all my questions with ease and patience. They were both always genuinely happy to be there and see me. I always had to bring my two kids with me as well, and all the staff made my kids feel welcome and answered my kids questions regarding moms "big belly." Holly Costello stayed with me for over 4 hours straight laboring unmedicated, without her support I know I would not have been able to do without her. Holly is an amazing midwife and without her quick thinking during my most recent labor in October 2024 I truly believe I would not be sitting here at 2:30am nursing my newborn happil and writing this review. Holly made all the right decisions to save my babies life and mine. I would transfer into Adriatica 1000 times again and will forever be grateful to Holly for making sure my older kids have their mom here today and I have my newborn in my arms. Holly spent over an hour with me during my 2 week check up as we processed my birth together. This kind of attentive care and genuine concern i don't think you will find anywhere else. I highly recommend this practice and will be going here as long as they are around.
