Kali does my hair and I have been in twice to see her, every time I walk out feeling like I have the best hair I have ever had. She always styles it so beautifully, but I do have curly hair and I have struggled to find cuts that can be styled curly and straight. She has such an intuitive understanding of hair and gives me exactly what I am looking for. Would definitely recommend!
I made a same day appointment and was in and out in no time. Ms. Winters was an amazing stylist and provided good tips on keeping my hair healthy while I work out in the elements. Adore provides a comfortable and professional experience and I am very pleased with how everything went :)
Mandy does an amazing job with curly hair! (Not wavy CURLY) I’ve been to her a handful of times now and she never misses. Amazing job blending balayages as well!
I truly cannot recommend Kim enough to do your brows! I have gotten my brows done and touched up by her for the last year and a half and I am so happy with them. Getting your brows tattooed makes your life so much easier and they’re always perfect! Kim is so much fun and such a kind hearted person- if you’re thinking about getting your brows done I strongly suggest going to Kim, you won’t regret it! ❤️
So I just moved to Corvallis from Alabama, and I had to go through everyone’s favorite process of finding a new hair stylist. I came across adore salon and fell in love with it right away. I went with Kayla as my stylist and she is amazing! I’ve never colored my hair in my life, but I wanted to try something new so I got my hair cut short and a balayage. I’m so happy with the end result! Kayla is the sweetest and will never let a client leave without 100% satisfaction. I would 10/10 recommend Kayla and Adore Salon.
My stylist didn’t introduce herself from the beginning. I don’t even know her name. She wasn’t very friendly at all, came off quite rude from the start, not very pleasant or talkative. Awkward appointment. I HATE my hair. I haven’t had my hair done for a long time due to my hair falling out from pregnancy/Covid. I wanted a trim and curtain bangs. She butchered my hair, it’s choppy and there are two tiny pieces cut straight across on either side of my face that look like I did it. Zero blending! I told her I didn’t like it and she kept asking ME what to do! If I knew how to cut a curtain bang I wouldn’t be at a salon. Awful experience, I don’t think she even knew how to cut a curtain bang. She didn’t seem confident and it showed. I regret ever making this appointment. Hate hate hate my hair!! A picture of my hair before she ruined it and the aftermath of whatever it is that she did. It’s awful!!!!!!
I booked with Jillian. My services cost $400 and took nearly 7 hours. I wasn't happy with how it turned out as it wasn't lightened properly so I went in again for a consultation with Jillian to see what would need to happen to fix it. Jillian recommended I go to Alta and get products to fix it which was frustrating because I paid $400 for the hair appointment but it looked like something I could have done at home. I went to another salon for a second opinion and they said it would cost over $300 to fix it and that I'm entitled to get a full refund. I called and talked with the Manager Stephanie who gave two options, partial refund or to redo it with another stylist. When I called Adore again with my decision, I talked with the owner, Alexis, and related what had happened, asked about the differences in prices from what I was charged and what the website said, and also explained the results from the second opinion from the other salon. She told me that I will only get a partial refund and moving forward I am not welcome as a client, then she hung up on me.
My appointment was mid Apr and i decided to write the review today after 2 months!
Absolutely the worse experience i had with a stylist or with a salon.
I booked with Megan McCabi and went with my long grown-out balayage asking to redo in the grown-out parts+grey hair color+ cut and styling. I showed her photos of what i was looking for. The result was a brassy wide sections of balayage where you could even see the start of color from the top of the hair. Her attitude and the way she handled me and my hair and concerns were unprofessional at all. I paid $500 including olaplex and left uncomfortable and unhappy.
I called a week later talked to the stylist and she said you should have gone to your old stylist! I dont do the color like what you showed me! I can only fix what i did.
Well- how can i trust her with my hair again.
My hair was really very weird and dry and breaking and plasticky as if it’s synthetic hair!
My hair was never damaged like that in my whole life.
I called for a solution , agreed with Stephanie the manager to refund 50% after she said that she cant get me in to do it for me…
I waited two weeks no refund so i decided to call . Been chasing them for few days, the receptionist said, sorry we havent done it yet will process it asap.
1 month from the appointment with I got my refund and its not 50% tried to follow up my refund and they would either not answer me or hear someone talking in the background whispering “ tell her will call her back”!!!!!!!!!!!!! And you can guessed that i got no call back.
I went to the salon myself. Waited for Stephanie for 15-20 mins we talked and she apologized and said we think we are not the right salon for you!!! Which basically means dont you ever step here again.
I wasn’t even planning on that. She paid my balance in Cash ! And told me about a toner to buy from sally to cover my brassy burnt hair.
Today, i have a severely damaged hair that i think will take me alot of time to revert the damage or maybe just cut it all. I spent more than $300 on hair products just to try to make my hair texture manageable! No luck still ! Im stuck with plasticky damaged hair just because a stylist did put too much bleach without olaplex although i paid for it.
If i can give them less than 1 star i would have done so.
