No one was there when we checked in, I’m normally not a review checker or review writer but I seriously regret that in this decision.
The note on the door was confusing and said to not contact if after 1:00 am. It was 8:10pm. Texted and no answer….so then we took keys out of the box which the letter on the door made it read like they put keys in there for people with late check in. Confusing.
Rooms had been used. Water on the floor of both bathrooms. Toilet paper in one of the toilets. Dish bar unwrapped. No microwave or fridge in the one room. Freezing cold all night in one room. Came home and I’ve literally been sick since. Really sick! Mattresses were gross. The keys in the box were probably from the last people who used the rooms.
Did receive one text back from the number I texted with just an emoji of a thumbs up and that was at 1:19am.
This is a noncontact hotel which I did not know when I booked. We spent 3 nights at this hotel. Bed was okay for comfort. Shower was horrible. The outlet in the bathroom did not work. Owner was rude if you tried any contact with her. Asked if there was ice available she had told me of course not because it got very cold at night. Opened the ice bin to find it dirty and a old pack of cigarettes at the bottom. They had no hospitality nor did they give a hoot about their customers. We will not stay here ever again. Found a better place, Bryce Canyon Motel, with great customer, Tina who actually was happy to speak with us, service down the street and spent two more nites much happier.
Do NOT book here. Heed my warning! It's so filthy and disgusting. Hot water didn't work. Tried calling, texting, no response. When I arrived with NO check in instructions, I literally arrived to find a note written with a sharpie marker that said pick a key and go to the room. There was a box full of random keys. The 1st one I picked was absolutely disgusting. I barely slept and refused to get in the bed. It was so sketchy and scary. When I asked for a refund because I had to leave at 5am to go find a place to take a shower as there was no hot water, the man was so rude and said you didn't tell me the hot water didn't work. I explained that I had tried several attempts throughout the day to contact them for check in instructions and no one ever responded what was the use of trying to tell him about the hot water. He said oh because you don't know how to turn on the hot water You want a refund? He proceeds to badger me and be so rude. Stay away from this place! It need to be reported to the health department or someone that will shut them down!
Positive: Toilet was tall. Shower was nice. Room size was good. Room was nice and cool. Nice ceiling fan. Negative: Metal was coming out of the side of the bed and scratched me every time I got in and out! Proprietor was not hospitable. Check in was just awful and late.
I already left a review mentioning everything from thr rude management, to the nightmare room you end up getting. I was reading through other reviews and saw that's someone else had an issue with the security of their room and that someone broke in while they were staying. I could not lock my room and found out that my key unlocked other rooms when I jokingly told a couple I would try my key in their door to see if it unlocked theirs for them because they had locked themselves out and couldn't of course get ahold of anyone to help them. I almost shit my pants when my key worked in their door and I double shit my pants when reading about the other man's break in experience during his stay. Other reviews say things like they dodnt feel secure and there were people that seemed to be watching them through their windows and had no vehicle with them. I find this odd and possibly a set up to steal from people. Hate to say that. But .......what am I suppose to think. Shut this place down already someone! How is this being allowed to continue
I am absolutely disgusted in the way my aunt was treated here today. She checked in at 1:00 this afternoon, payment was made and she was given a keycard. She checked into the room, left her belongings there and ran an errand. When she returned, the manager claimed the room wasn’t paid for and she was stealing the room and had thrown out all of her belongings, including life-saving medications she’s been taking since heart surgery. My aunt and cousin spent all day blowing up the manager’s phone to try and straighten this out and prove they paid for the room to be ignored until they finally sent a text and got the most nasty toned messages from them about stealing the room. The manager claimed the payment at 1:00 was for the night before, even though my aunt wasn’t even there the night before. The manager insulted my aunt and my cousin as they tried to prove they paid and the manager told them they wouldn’t hear it and my aunt’s possessions were in the motel’s dumpster. To the manager, I hope to God you never have to deal with someone like you ever in your lifetime! Despite being a cold-hearted witch, you don’t even deserve to be treated that way.
Stained comforters, overall unclean bedding. Key was taped to door as others have stated. No AC. Mattress needs to be replaced. Really get what you pay for here…clearly don’t care about customer reviews or else they’d at least make an effort to improve a little. Just thankful we are only driving through
I wish there was a thing no stars or negative stars, but I have no choice and choose 1 star. This is the worst place on earth to stay specially because of customer service and the lady who hides behind the text messages only on phone, very rude, obnoxious, and don't give a damn about you or your needs, she just wants to take your money and that's all. I will never stay here even for free, room is just ok for the price, but mainly it's the customer service and rudeness of the owner, she is a thief, I don't want to even waste my time here writing more details, just wanted to take the time to say STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE AND BOOK ELSEWHERE.
