This is hands down the best dining experience we’ve ever had on the coast in 5 years. The drinks and service were top notch and the FOOD was easily 5 star. The appetizers were huge and delicious (New Orleans Shrimp and Grits was to die for) the meal itself was incredible. My mother in law and I got the Ribeyes cooked to perfection, my husband had the Sole….10 out of 10. We’ll be back. Often.
We came upon this restaurant a few weeks back while at the Oregon Coast. Wanted to stay at the hotel, but they were booked. We wanted just a little bite to eat since it was so late! The house salad was good though very small for a high price! The chowder was very good, but the pricey cookies were crispy and not very good. We ended up throwing most of them away. The view was great especially catching the end of sunset. The service was excellent and thankfully we were still treated nicely even though we weren't ordering full meals.
Over Foods is good. I Just don’t like my Halibut grilled dish and mashed potatoes ???? taste weird and was mixed with my Halibut so it disappointed it.
Adobe Restaurant and Lounge offers a fantastic dining experience. The food is excellent, with a wide variety of flavorful dishes to choose from. The warm atmosphere, paired with a great ocean view, makes it an ideal spot for any occasion. The bartender is awesome—skilled, creative, and friendly. The chocolate cherry martini is a standout drink: rich, smooth, and perfectly balanced.

What did I just eat? The absolute best house salad & the most glutinous crab pot entree ever! It really should be a quarter of the size & served as an appetizer, as it’s more of a dip. The flavor is fantastic, but the serving size being that big with that much richness is just mind blowing. We could have shared with 6 people easy. It would look more appetizing smaller also. Keep serving great food tho. The view is exceptional!
The service was impeccable! Our waitress Bess was on the ball and very attentive. The view is to die for. You are so close to the ocean as it crashes onto the rocks. You can almost feel the spray, except you are behind a double pain window, safely taking in the view. Our food was good. We ordered the Crab appetizer. It was absolutely delicious. My wife ordered the fettuccine with shrimp, which she enjoyed. I ordered the crab cakes, and the meal was good. We ordered the 5 tiered chocolate cake al a mode, and it was decadent! We will definitely be back many times.
My only concern is that they do not take reservations, which could ensure that you could get a window table to enjoy their $$$$$$$$$$$ view!
Another fantastic meal at Adobe. They never disappoint.

Great Christmas dinner. Food was fantastic and the service was on spot. Definitely a great experience. The new chef rocks!! I will be back.
We arrived late for our check in due to medical reasons and the staff could not have been more helpful. The restaurant served us a delicious dinner despite arriving shortly before they closed and our server even gifted us dessert as it was our anniversary. We were given the opportunity to upgrade our room and it was fantastic, right near the water and we slept to the sounds of crashing waves. An excellent place to stay in Yachats, I would recommend it to anyone!
