the room was huge! Very comfortable, great ocean view! I wish there were paper towels for the kitchen area though, as we brought leftovers to eat the next day. We were in a separate building that had balconies on the first floor, very nice for ocean watching! But it would be nice to have had a couple of steps off of the balcony to the grass for direct access from the room for our dog. |We would stay again and highly recommend Adobe Resort!
Ocean view room was very nice. Enjoyed the sound of waves and birds. Bed was comfortable. Shower was great. Loved the fireplace wall insert in the room as well. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub during our stay. The Adobe staff was accommodating and friendly. Enjoyed a meal and drinks in the bar lounge.|TV was very small in the room. Needs to be upsized.
Always a great place for a quick Getaway. Great location at a reasonable price. Love the ocean so close to your room. The pool and hot tub are nice after a walk on the trail along the ocean. The resteraunt has such amazing views as well. This is a place we keep on coming back to
We have always wanted to stay at the Adobe but never had until recently.
The location is great, and the views are amazing. We were there for the King Tides and that was very nice to watch from the room as well as on the grounds. Resort is located right next to the ocean. No "beach", lots of rocks with great ocean spray and crashing waves.
We picked the location partly based on price, it was $50 less than many others in the surrounding area.
It is an older hotel, so it does not have some of the amenities in the room we were used to, but it was still a nice stay. It did not have extra chairs or desk area which is nice to do some remote work from and the rooms were definitely "worn" and could use a fresh coat of paint and a little TLC. It also did not have a patio/deck. With all of that said, we still enjoyed our stay and would recommend it.
Service was great and it had a fun gift shop area.
We did not eat on the property, but it really smelled good. We tried to have the brunch, but the wait was longer than we wanted.
Very close to Yachats which has some fun shopping, a park, and quite a few food options.
This is a hard review to write, because my wife and I have loved this property for almost 20 years. The service has always been excellent; the food was marvelous, especially the house-smoked salmon fettuccine, chowder, and omelets; and the rooms were comfortable, with nice soft beds, natural wood throughout, and (if you booked a suite) large jetted tubs. The last time we were there, the decor was getting quite dated, and the quality and selection of the restaurant were getting a little limited. That was five years ago, with a global pandemic in between.
Following a traumatic Autumn, my wife begged for two nights at the Adobe, to watch a storm roll through, take a couple of baths in the jetted tub, have a drink or two in the lounge, and get some of that great house-smoked salmon. Instead, what we wound up with, was a hotel experience that felt like a rip-off even at off-season rates, food that made us sick the entire time we were there, a revamped lounge that closes at 9pm, and a bed that was harder than rocks.
We booked a standard king size room. No ocean view for us since we were staying just a night and seeing the ocean literally every single day. The room was super spacious with its own sitting room and couch, and we got lucky because it was definitely a renovated room so everything was still new looking.
Was surprised though that they painted the walls to make it look like there’s a headboard but there’s not. The bed and pillows were comfortable enough and most importantly: clean. No issues with our stay. We were surprised to see that there was a laundry room for guests to use. It costs $2 for the washer and drying is free so we managed to clean our items now instead of stopping by a laundromat (saved us a lot!). You can get quarters from the front lobby by asking the receptionist. We had our own detergent so not sure if they also sell detergent but they definitely had dryer sheets. Didn’t try the restaurant since the reviews were terrible but this place is only less than half a mile from the local grocery store and restaurants if you need any food. The parking lot should be repainted but there’s plenty of parking. Overall, would definitely stay again if visiting Yachats.
The rooms were clean, spacious, and most importantly, to me, clean! Apparently, dogs are allowed, but it's been no problem. The restaurant Great, especially the breakfast. Huge and the coffee and latte were great! The King tide were great to watch right outside our door!
Enjoyed my stay at Adobe. The staff were very helpful and friendly and I had a delicious Tri-color beet salad at Happy Hour! The room was comfortable with a nice view of the ocean. The hike around the point and off to the sandy beach was good to stretch the legs after a long drive to the coast.
