There aren't many hotels in the area so this is probably your best bet for location and price. It is VERY basic and outdated although it looks like they are doing some improvements?
Pros:
- Water pressure was great
- The breakfast was better than expected.
- Seemed clean enough to me
- I only saw one bug the whole time.
- Great location. You can walk to the grocery store.
- Staff was nice.
Cons:
- Outdated
- The lighting in the rooms is terrible and feels like a cheap motel.
- There is barely 1 outlet in the whole bedroom area.
- The cable/satellite TV only worked about 25% of the time.
- Old school coffee pot and dirty mugs are provided for coffee. We opted to get coffee in paper cups from the breakfast area.
- Room keys sometimes didn't work for the outside door.
- They overcharged us $150- which I am still working to resolve.
Staff friendly and courteous. Check In fast and efficient. Newly renovated rooms perfect and mattresses extremely comfortable. Only downside was housekeeping came around at 3:00. We had already made the beds and didn't need towels. I understand staffing is a problem everywhere and this did not affect us.
Very pleased with the staff. Everything that we asked for or even directions they were able to help us out. It was nice that they had a continental breakfast there in the morning. The king suite was great. After walking on the beach all day or around town, using the jet tub was nice just to soak in.
Positive: The room was very clean and large! Negative: The pool area and guest check-in area could have been more appealing to the eye but I know that they are doing renovations presently
We went for a weekend get away and this place was very pleasant…we got a king size bed with jaccuzi with a separate entire bathroom and very spacious…we had 2 doors, one for the inside of the hotel and the other directly to the outside swimming pool into the indoor swimming pool ❤️❤️❤️❤️. The only that needs upgrading is their breakfast menu which consists of cold boiled eggs, bagels, mini muffins, make your own waffle batter, make your own oatmeal, 3 types of cold cereal with condiments included…like thats NOT a complimentary breakfast what so ever!!! What happened to scrambled eggs, sausages, bacon, biscuits, home fries etc…please upgrade!!! Other than that I would definitely go back to stay during the summer
Positive: Nothing. Negative: Requested a late check out night before and was told by the lady at the desk we could stay until noon. Then we were woken up at 7 am by a fire alarm going off through out the hotel in both buildings for 30 minutes.
Positive: big rooms and for the most part clean Negative: The bedspread on one of the beds had a big stain. It was out of place because the room was very clean except for that. It was hard to miss it.
Rooms huge but only soap and shampoo. Svce not good. Daily only did towels. I even put the empty coffee tray in the bath hoping for tea and coffee, no baggie in ice bucket, yuck. Disappointing. Didn't touch the beds for 4 nites no clean sheets!
