Best WLM Reviews
Dr. Akhtar is a wonderful physician, her staff are friendly and efficient. The team has taken the time to listen to my concerns and made sure I was comfortable.
Dr. Adeeba is the best. They are very professional and quick. I've been going there for years. Nice office setup space. Great care.
Professional team of doctors and nurses, practitioners ,
wonderful clerical and nurse team they've been my physicians for over seven years and I wouldn't go any place else.
If there was a review less than one, I would give it to this doctor I have left this office and hope to never go back in that office again. I have reported her and her offices to Humana and to Medicare and they are doing an investigation right now . It Took me 10 days to get a referral to A pain management surgeon. I called left messages begged and pleaded for someone to call me back and give me a referral to a certain doctor while I was on an HMO. It took a Methodist doctor to call the office to ask for the referral so I can make the appointment with the pain management doctor. I have still not gotten a response from calling to request blood pressure medication for the last refill. I had to change PCP doctors in order to get my blood pressure medication. I know they will respond to this very negatively and tell you that I’m a horrible person . But if you look at the other reviews that are negative that’s the way they reacted to all of them. They blame the patient not the doctor or the staff. When I was in the office one time, the little girl that was helping me told me they had had an office meeting that morning and she had asked the staff the please treat the patients nicer or they weren’t going to have any patients to treat. I was astounded at this information and attitude. So walk into this office at your own risk. You have been warned.
Dr. Ahktar is very rude and office is super unorganized. A year ago Before I reached my breaking, I joked to her that she dosent listen to me but I was dead serious. For example I went in with flu symptoms as most patients there that day was suffering from. She talked the whole time about redness in my ear, regardless as to what I was saying about the symptoms that brought me in.. My whole body was sore, I could taste blood when I coughed and had no energy. She prescribed me only an anti-biotic after telling me she had given me an oral solution. I didn’t find out until I got to the pharmacy, I called Ahktar and she gave me a hard time about sending something for cough and congestion. Very embarrassing and time consuming as I already had to bum a ride. Finally she sent Tami-Flu in a child’s dosage. I’m 44 6’0 271 lbs. The pharmacist was even shocked and explained that it may not be effective for me. I called the next week to inform the staff. Katherine was rude and dismissive and refused to allow me to speak wit Shani who is always very helpful and usually cleaning up DR mess. I told Katherine I didn’t have the resources to visit them for a 3rd time in a month, each time was to fix their previous error. She told me Dr Ahktar said I need to go to the emergency room if I was dissatisfied with my children strength Tami-flu. Or come pay them another copay to be seen. Mind you I was there 2 weeks prior and they forgot my primary medication which is controlled. I again didn’t find out until I reached the pharmacy. Then she orders a COVID’s 19 test, after the visit. I informed her that I had taken a test that morning before the visit and it was negative . Furthermore if she thought I had Covid symptoms, why’d she only prescribed an antibiotic. I wasn’t joking when I said she LITERALLY dosent listen and responds to your questions about controlled meds as if I’m an undercover cop and literally changes the subject and focused on my ear. I informed her my ENT was in the same building and didn’t need her help with it but I needed attn for flu symptoms. Besides Ahktar not listening, the front desk Lady Katherine accounting is always off and telling me I owe from previous months but almost never has proof to match what she says and still demands payment. I was told by another staff member this is common there. Her Nurse practitioners are great and so is Shani. Most of the other staff are the 6 months or less. Dr Ahktar may need cultural sensitivity training of sum kind Katherine too cuz there plain rude at times. That was the last straw I doubt I’ll ever go back not my son and I’ll stoop my 3 nieces from going back if I can.
Staff and nurses are very attentive friendly and specially Dr Adeeba is very nice and concerned for her patients, always listen and explain everything. It’s been a year we are going her clinic and would love to keep her our Dr forever. Thanks Doc. ♥️
Dr. Adeeba Akhtar is the best doctor in the town . She is very caring, and talk with so much patience. Staff is very helpful . Every time I have very good experience , came out with smile . Great doctor for my family .
I came here with my father and had the worst experience ever. They put us in a room and made us wait 1.5 hour and the doctor didn’t come at all. They kept telling me 5min but nobody came. We left after 1.5hour who knows how long we were gonna wait if we didn’t leave. Do not recommend it!!
