This is my favorite place to dine in Jersey, whether it's a birthday, girls night, date night or I'm just hungry. I've been here 3x now and the food is always delicious and flavorful. Meat portions are also generous, and staff is always great. I do think their cocktails can use some work and a happy hour would be welcomed. But the atmosphere is beautiful and inviting. I'd recommend the pork chop, short rib and baby back..... delish!
It was me and my wife’s second time coming to this spot and let me say they have been great on both occasions. Everything from the service to the food and the cleanliness is spot on! It was my wife’s birthday and they even did something special for us! Great vibes every time we come in!
Tonight I went to Addams Tavern for my birthday/anniversary with my husband and brother. We’ve dined previously at Addams for the past 5+ years. Their service is always impeccable there and the staff are always so welcoming. I’m not usually one to write reviews but today was so special. I was surprised with a birthday card and an anniversary card. The food was AMAZING! By the time the dessert came, I was given a bouquet of flowers and ‘congratulation’ written on hearts that the staff signed. If there is a restaurant that makes you feel like family, it’s Addams Tavern. I highly recommend going there (even if it’s not for a special occasion). You will not be disappointed.
My wife and I went here for our anniversary, this isn’t our first time here we love going here. We like that they have seasonal menus although we only tried the fall and winter menus. But this time was a little different they gave us a card for our anniversary that said happy anniversary and all of them signed it. It was a nice little touch. Plus we got a little dessert too. But I almost always get their filet mignon because it’s delicious and always cooked the way it should be. We feel satisfied but not gross when we leave too. I recommend this place for a nice night out, or even an evening with friends. The cost is low if you don’t do alcohol. Regardless we got two Irish coffees and two glasses of sangria wine and our meal was still under $200 for two. Not too bad for the quality of their food and the service. Obviously we will go back.
This is the best restaurant in the area. The experience is always consistant and food great tasting. The menu is very simple yet each dish is outstanding. The staff are very attentive and always look happy to be there. The atmosphere inside feels warm. Each of the psst few times that we have gone this place has exceeded our ecpectations in terms of food and service. I will always recomend thisrestaurant for anyone looking for brunch or dinner in the area. The little touches like the apples you can grab on your way out also make our kids love this place. There was a time right after the pandemic when this place fell off a little in terms of quality but has since recovered and I can honestly say that each time we go now the experience is always over the top!! Amazing food! Amazing staff!
The food was great. I recommend getting the lobster fettuccine, short rib, and spicy calamari. We walked-in on a Friday night at 6pm and luckily we were able to get a table but I'm sure if we came later we might have had to wait so I would recommend getting a reservation since this seems like a popular place. My kids seemed to really enjoy the food too especially the desserts! You have to try the cinnamon roll bread pudding a la mode! ???? If nothing else, get the bread pudding.
Nice Food and Nice Place!!!
I and my husband went to this place for lunch. Because of the name 'Tavern' we thought this place is not expensive and common restaurant. However, when we entered, we realized it is quite fancy place which is very clean and neat.
We ordered a soup, two burgers and fries. All of it was very good. The waitress was very kind, too.
My husband and I both were satisfied. It was quite pricy for lunch but food was worth it.
Next time, we want to visit here for dinner :)
We had the best time. Isa was the best waitress. So polite and informative. We just stopped in for lunch and had the most unexpected amazing experience. The service was so professional and so amazing, and I can’t say enough about Isa. The food was amazing. It was an expensive lunch but so so worth it for the quality, experience, and environment. We had the tuna tartare, the prime rib wrap and the crème brûlée with some of their seasonal cocktails. It was the best!
