I recently had the pleasure of trying a dish that truly exceeded my expectations. I must emphasize that this is not a meal to be ordered solo; attempting to tackle it alone results in an overwhelming amount of leftovers. Title: Clarification on Our Temporary Closure
Dear Valued Customers and Community,
We want to address the recent closure of our restaurant and provide clarity on the situation. Many of you have reached out with questions, and we believe it’s important to be transparent with our loyal customers.
The reason for our closure is not what you might think. The health department did NOT come out and put the sign on our doors for the closures. While our recent health score was lower than we would have liked, the issues cited were related to procedural corrections, such as labeling, staff training, and storage adjustments These are issues that can be fixed quickly and were not related to the cleanliness of our kitchen or the safety of the food we serve.
The closure itself was a result of internal business matters beyond our control, which we are actively working to resolve. We want our community to know that we are taking action to protect our rights as the rightful owners and operators of this business. Our goal is to resolve this situation as quickly as possible and get back to doing what we love — serving you fresh, delicious food in a welcoming environment.
We understand how frustrating and disappointing this is for our customers, our employees, and the community. Please know that we are working hard behind the scenes to get back on track. We appreciate your patience, support, and understanding as we fight for what is right.

Fast and polite servers. Food is always great. I visit 3x a week. Love Korean food and tradition. They also deliver lunch meals to the company I currently work for. Love it!!!
This is not Adams BBQ any longer. It was purchased and made into a "Korean" BBQ place. You do not cook your own food nor is it all you can eat. Now with that being said...
I was in the mood for something different and couldn't make up my mind on what. I remember that Adams BBQ had turned into a Korean BBQ place. So, I decided to go and try it out. First things first...sticker shock. The prices are high! I'm afraid that will hurt it. I ordered a Sprite (no sweet tea available) and Hot Stone Bibimbap. The food is in the picture attached. I can tell you one thing...it was delicious! I had mine with some hot sauce and ate it all with chopsticks. The server did a great job at keeping my glass full and was apparently amazed by my use of chopsticks (so much he told me, "You use chopsticks very well"). I believe that added to the experience. All of the food was great...I have no complaints about anything at all! I was stuffed and couldn't stop eating.
Service was good, food was good, the only complaint I have is that it's pretty pricey. It was $22 for my meal and drink. They do offer a military discount though.
Had the Ox knee soup, a little bland, but it's supposed to be that way. (Very authentic) also very tender. The kimchi was most excellent. I will be back to try more dishes. I am glad Cartersville is getting more authentic places like this to eat. (I would come back just to eat my fill on kimchi)
Update: this is no longer an American restaurant... Even though the sign says Adams BBQ there is a K in front of BBQ. it's a Korean restaurant now. Nothing wrong with that but don't expect Southern BBQ.
And it's a family style barbecue joint. The food was okay. My grilled chicken that was on the menu as marinated and moist was very dried out instead of a biscuit I got a roll in my roll wasn't even warmed up. The service people came by took our order. Got it. Refilled water couple times but that's about it.
Update... This is now a Korean BBQ.
The food was amazing, and our waitress was super sweet with a lot of friendly energy.
The menu was a little hard to understand, but that's the fun in trying something new!
Glass noodles and beef bulgogi were our favorites. Prices were fair for the amount of food we received.
Can't wait to go back!
I had the ramen, it was super bland and didn't taste like anything. The super nice server came to my table because I guess she realized I didn't like it and was very sweet about it and said she would go tell the kitchen. The lady from the kitchen came in and asked what was wrong so my mom said that I just didn't like it, and all she said was "You ordered it though." Which I understand, but I wasn't even going to complain until they asked. It made me feel extremely unwelcome and it overall was just not a good experience.
