Good Peruvian restaurant in downtown Stamford. The portion size is really good and we definitely enjoyed it. We went with mahi mahi parrilla with green plantains and fries as sides. Also, another dish is chicken Peruvian fried rice. Both were really good. We got complementary ajio sauce and bread for the table.
I ordered salmon la parilla for pickup today along with other items. It is the worst salmon I have ever eaten. Every side is burnt, and I did not choose to have fried banana with it. It tastes horrible, and I just threw it away.
THE BEST PERUVIAN FOOD I EVER HAD! Let’s begin with the food, BEST CEVICHE! BEST FRIED STEAK RICE! THE BEST FRIED YUCA! THE BEST LOMO SALTADO I EVER HAD! The staff is helpful and attentive, the drinks are perfectly mixed, fresh and delicious. 10 out of 10 on everything from the atmosphere, music, staff, food, service & drinks! I can’t wait to come back!
I’ve been visiting this place for a couple years and I always have the best ceviche mixto ! Unfortunately uni when there Friday to enjoy a ceviche mixto and my experience was not good at all the ceviche ingredients has been change ??? Or I lost my memory Was not chcoclo no octopus and the squid was completely chopped in a small pieces the shrimp was so tiny not happy at all we always do a large group of friends for ours birthday and very regular at this place I was totally disappointed !! Hope you guy take care of this small things bc use to he one of the best for us !!!! And the words is when I ask the waitress she look at me like you’re crazy lady here is some pictures form before 2023 and one form Friday 2024 !!!!
I’ve been to this place 4 times. It will be my last. The service is horrible now. Whoever is the cook in the back needs more training. Ask for ceviche and it was disgustingly. Had all my food at once. Asked for ceviche as appetizer and the Lomo Salteado for mains. Everything was at once. The Lomo Salteado had more peppers and onions than actual meat. Everything was thrown inside a bowl. How are we suppose to cut the steak in a bowl? Steak just went to the bottom of the bowl rice spilled everywhere. Horrible experience! Won’t be going back. Given horrible service they add 20% tip on a party of two. Insane!
One of the best Latin restaurants I’ve ever been to, it’s Peruvian specifically which has Latin and Asian elements to it. Everything on the menu is delicious and seems very authentic. The restaurant is frequented by the local Hispanic population so you know they are doing something right. A big fan of the ceviche, mariscos and the lomos.
I order the Mixto Cevichito from this place at least once a week. Its always great. Wanted to try something else and ordered the Mariscos Cevichito. The oyster in it smelled like ammonia and tasted rancid. I am pretty sure it was bad. My stomach got upset just from tasting it. I don't think I am ever ordering that dish again
The food is not good. The Lomo is bad. The tostones had zero flavor. The shrimp with garlic was so bitter, they burned the garlic. I would not recommended. Whoever is cooking should be retrained on the basics of cooking. I don't think people know what good food is with these high reviews. Stay way
