????Acropolis Mediterranean Grill
I’ve been to Acropolis Mediterranean Grill for dinner before, and it’s always a fantastic experience. This time, I stopped in for drinks and dessert and finally had the chance to take some pictures.
I shared a piece of their Chocolate Lover’s cake, which was rich, indulgent, and incredibly thick—definitely a treat worth savoring. Alongside it, I ordered the Irish Coffee, and it was exactly what I needed on a cold night. The warmth of the whiskey blended beautifully with the coffee, while the minty whipped topping added a refreshing twist.
My companion opted for the Nutty Irishman, another standout drink, and we both left impressed. The service was excellent as always—Lucy H took great care of us, and the cozy atmosphere made it a perfect spot to unwind.
Whether you’re stopping in for a full dinner or just dessert and drinks, Acropolis never disappoints. Five stars!
The atmosphere was amazing - it was clean, well-decorated, and very cozy. The service was the best I’ve ever had - the server checked in regularly, had a very pleasant attitude, and took extra steps to make our experience perfect (i.e., waiting to place our dessert order so it was ready right when our main meal ended). The restaurant also had more affordable options. The dessert could’ve been warm, but other than that, this is one of the best restaurant experiences I’ve ever had.
We've been here three times, and each time has been consistently delicious. I think our family, has found our new favorite restaurant.
The setting is upscale, yet casual at the same time. The lamb shank and farmer's pie have been our go to, and both hearty enough, that they leave plenty for left overs.
Our waiter Mason was exceptionally attentive, as were as our previous servers. One of the owners, makes her rounds and checks in on every table, which is nice. They are family owned and have been running a number of restaurants for decades.
As for the prices, they are more than fair, considering inflation and how good the food is. Do yourself a favor, and check out Acropolis Grill. You won't be disappointed.
Eat here today for lunch was so awesome as always I had the farmers pie this by far has to be one of the best dishes I've eat in Chattanooga had such good service from star our waitress the lamb lollipops were awesome. My daughter had the ravioli la Crema my cousin had they stacked eggplant and her friend had fried shrimp Always such a great place to go.
This restaurant is great for many different things. First, you can come for a nice sit down dinner and order multiple courses with the family. Food was AMAZING and the soup was delicious. Second, you could come for the drinks and a quick bite as the food came out quick and the sandwiches/pitas are cheap. Third, the coffees and desserts are just amazing. Special shout out to Lee, who was the kindest nicest server I’ve ever met in my life and made a really tough day a whole lot better. All that to say, we will be back!!
For a first time experience, Acropolis was a good choice and may I say the food was good. The overall presentation was on point. The server Paula was very attentive but, when we left her a 5 dollar tip she rolled her eyes and responded "WOW". Not good customer service at all. We started with the lollipop land and that was really good. The girlfriend felt the meat port was a little small but the overall taste was wonderful. I ordered the Mixed Grill and was delighted. The girlfriend ordered the salmon and said it was off seasoned a little. I wouldn't have minded eating here again but based upon the waiter I feel as though my money is not good enough so I will spend it some where else. Thanks anyways.
They catered a work Christmas party for our company and drove 1.5 hours to get to us. The food was delicious and hot! The steak was the most tender steak I'd ever had! Idk how they cooked it so perfectly that it didn't get dry in transit but it was amazing. Everything else was yummy too. Id like to visit the actual building next time I'm in Chattanooga. But again food, service, and price was awesome. Highly recommend.
It's been a few years since I've dined at the Acropolis but I have a desire to go back and try more of the menu. The branzino along with the lamb ragu are strong contenders to order again. The tiramisu was solid but not sure if I would order again based upon the great dessert options available.
