Best WLM Reviews

Overall, the experience was good. Oddly, the chicken from the kids meal was the most tasty of the items at the table. Each entree appeared fresh and nicely presented, with the Moussaka a preferred choice over the unusual taste of the falafel. Service was friendly and the establishment was clean and inviting.
Have gotten takeout from here in the past and we have been happy with the food and portion sizes previously. The takeout containers are now different and have drastically gotten smaller. This is especially notable with the Greek salad which is close to 20$- but now the salad much smaller and definitely not worth the price. They also forgot to put olives in it.
Acropolis Greek taverna is a gem in the heart of riverview , offering an authentic and delightful Greek dining experience. From the moment you step inside, you’re greeted with the warm and inviting ambiance reminiscent of a cozy taverna on a Greek island. The decor, featuring rustic wooden tables, vibrant accents, and charming setup, sets the perfect mood for an enjoyable meal.
Food: The menu at Acropolis Greek is a tribute to traditional Greek cuisine. We started our meal with the Platter, which included a delightful assortment of tzatziki, hummus, dolmades, and freshly baked pita bread. Each dip was bursting with flavor, and the everything were perfectly seasoned.Stuffed mashroom was something unique.
For the main course, I opted for the, a classic Greek salad. It was a perfect balance of layers, veggies , and a creamy sauce that melted in my mouth.
Service: The service at restaurant was exceptional but little slow because of the rush they have. Our waiter was knowledgeable about the menu, offering excellent recommendations and ensuring our glasses were never empty. The staff’s genuine hospitality made us feel like honored guests in a Greek home.
Drinks: The restaurant offers a diverse selection of Greek wines and spirits. We enjoyed a margaritas , a crisp and refreshing white wine that paired perfectly with our meal. For dessert, we indulged bakalawa cheesecake that was the perfect ending to a delightful evening.
Overall Experience: this restaurant exceeded our expectations in every way. The authentic flavors, warm ambiance, and outstanding service made for an unforgettable dining experience. Whether you’re a fan of Greek cuisine or looking to try something new, this is a must-visit.
Delicious food as always. Our server Zoey was friendly and made our dinning experience exceptional!
I’m amazed at the lack of professionalism in this place. The guy at the front desk looked like he didn’t care much about his job, and the waiters didn’t care to clean the floor for the next party. Our table was sticky, but our waiter was fine. Although we had tomatoes on the gyro we didn’t ask tomatoes for. The speed of the service wasn’t that bad though. The atmosphere was more rustic than other places, and offered a bar there.
The food was the best thing about this place. Our appetizer sampler had mostly great dippings, as well as the bread service. The Siros Salmon was good, along with the pasta. Although the gyro & chicken was lukewarm. Otherwise, I don’t recommend this location, go to the ones in Ybor or South Tampa. I’m not impressed.
The food here was very bland. They overcooked the falafel so it was hard and dry. The seafood pasta was bland without much taste and my friends salad had mashed potatoes on it for some reason. Also the young server we had took forever to take the initial orders and never really came back until I had to go inside to get her. Only thing that was okay was the sangria happy hour. Do not recommend.
First time eating in here and the food + service was 10/10! Zoe was so kind and helpful my entire time here. Loved having her as my server. She truly made me feel welcome as a solo diner. I was actually shocked at how good the food! The best I’ve had in a while. I’ll definitely be back. Thank you Zoe ????
Always a great time here especially when they have belly dancers! Food is always phenomenal. Highly recommend.
