Best WLM Reviews
I came with a large group, one of whom is a vegetarian. We shared many appetizers which were all delicious. I ordered the burger which was great but liked my husband's steak more. Everyone enjoyed their drinks. I hope to return to try the desserts.
My boyfriend and I were BLOWN AWAY by the flavors and food here! We were not sure what expect, but the food was literally top shelf, one of the best places he and I have eaten at in the last year. We will 100% be returning soon!
We tried a variety of appetizers, entrees and a dessert:
Appetizer - Beer Cheese Dip and Pretzel Bites and Perogies
Entrees - Honey Chicken, Chimcurri Steak, and Curry Pork
Dessert - Apple Donuts
We were blown away by the perogies and all three entrees! There was nothing that we ate that we were disappointed in. We LOVED IT!!
Came here after a show at The Big theater, across the street. The atmosphere is modern and clean, it has an open air vibe with a mix of outdoor / indoor seating and a large bar. The staff is very friendly and were very accommodating to tweaking menu items for food allergies. The food itself was good. Drinks were strong. ????
A disappointing 3⭐️ rating for Acova. The service was very good. The atmosphere feels comfortable and the lighting feels good. There is a good variety of indoor and outdoor seating. The downfall of this visit was the inconsistency of the food. The wings were good, but the carrots and celery weren’t fresh. My miso noodle salad was good, but the seared ahi was dry and I could have mistaken it for some type of jerky. The fried chicken was ok, but the sides lacked any kind of ingenuity. I came expecting a 5-star experience and left feeling disappointed. I’ll chalk this visit up to an off night.
Love the bar area and outside area at this place. Big, spacious bar area, and great patio for the nicer weather. Brunch review, and Alex gave us perfect service behind the bar. You get an option of the $5 mimosa or $8 one, and my pic is of the $8 one. Great deal. Alex makes the Bloody Mary's personally as opposed to being a group made mix, and it was fantastic. I got the Italian Benedict for food, and it was solid. They don't hit you up for an automatic service charge on the bill. Love the energy here, love the staff, love the food. I still need a few more visits to bump it up to a five star, but definitely recommend, and see you there.
Never been to a place where you order deviled eggs and they 3x the egg yolk onto the eggs making it a messy experience. You can see from my picture how much extra was left from what I had to smear off. The service at this place was horrendous. Our waiter only came by when he had to drop off food or when he wanted us to ask for the check. Would not recommend and would not go back.
We went to Acova because I have celiac, and it came highly recommended. It certainly didn't dissapoint. There were only 2 items on the menu that I couldn't eat. Its amazing to get such selection with celiac. The food was phenomenal. We went with some Costa Rican relatives, and we all shared food and everything was fantastic. I had the hot honey fried chicken. Other meals that we got were the chimichurri steak, the crab cakes and the deep fried apple doughnuts. Everything was amazing. The service was also amazing. Our waiter even spoke Spanish. If you eat gluten-free, or if you dont- I also highly recommend this restaurant.
Great staff, super knowledgeable and friendly and an amazing restaurant for allergies! Only complaint was how loud it was, but that's any busy restaurant. The deserts were by far my favorite, and I never like restaurant deserts!
