If I could give this hospital 100 stars I would. I have nothing but great things to say about this hospital. I have been going to the same obgyn doctor since I was 16 and I continue to see her til this day, all the doctors in that department are amazing though because I did see them at one point during my pregnancy journey. I have had both my children at this hospital and the experiences both phenomenal. I can’t express how much the entire staff shows so much compassion and love towards you as a patient and that is exactly what you want when someone is in that field taking care of you. I will continue to always go here for all my needs. Thank you to all the
nurses and staff. I want to shout out to nurse Kristen for she was a beautiful soul and made me feel comfortable the entire time.
Well for one I bring my wife in around 3:00-3:30 because she couldn't kick the cold or flu she had. My wife was in bad shape all her numbers were bad. They gave her x-rays in the room and told us she was going into kidney feller. And they need to do a CT to see if they could treat her here or send her to Pittsburgh. Now they gave her the CT at 4:45 and waited and waited my wife wanted something to drink and kept telling her we can't till we get the CT. And 5 hours later watch is bullshit the CT came back. This hospital needs to hire someone to read x-rays in house so like my wife should not lay for hours to find out what is going to happen. The nurses on are floor are all nice. Are dog is a full blooded lab and my wife was missing are dog so I asked if I could bring her and been bringing her to see her mom. People didn't even know are dog was here and it cheered my wife up seeing her. Until some asshole complained and now my wife can't see her little girl. This place doesn't even deserve one star after what they put my wife though.
Worst hospital ever. ED is always a joke. I fell while pregnant and they were giving me a hard time about being seen - saying I don’t need to have the baby checked on. Ultrasound techs are very rude and inexperienced. Tried to talk with the ultrasound tech Cathleen today and she gave me rude looks and ignored me the entire time. She also didn’t want to even give us pictures of the baby when you ALWAYS get pictures after an ultrasound. I will be delivering my baby at a different hospital because I do not trust the incompetent staff here at ACMH. Staff is always very rude no matter what department you’re in. I recommend going anywhere else but here as I, nor anyone I know, have never had a good experience in any of the departments.
If I had to the option to give no stars I would. Worthless place. My girlfriend came into get check out for pregnancy been vomiting all day. The women who the intake was rude as all get up. Asked for her allergies. She gave them, then say nope another staff will get your information. They bring us back to a little, is it a room? More like a cubby hole in the wall with a current that doesn't even cover the whole area. Say back her for over and hour nobody comes in to check on you, then when you ask to leave. U have to wait for paper work.... Still sitting here 35 mins later. What a joke.
I say 2 stars because it depends on the staff sometimes very occasionally they are nice . Between me and my kids having to go to this place over the past few months (the ambulance wouldn't take us to butler) it's just been an awful experience starting in June when a tree trunk fell and hit my son in the head he was bleeding and had a serious bump upon calling 911 we were informed they are tied up and it was going to be awhile, so I was able to get transportation to take my son to the ER. When we arrived the waiting area was empty, he had an ice pack from home on his head we checked in and waited and waited.....and waited some more about an hr had passed so I asked if they were going to check him out anytime soon and was told "kids get hit in the head all the time they take priority first" yet NO ONE Else was there before us one other person came in about 35 minutes after us I believe stomach pain was the reason they were taken back , we waited 2 hours basically then went home I kept him up late and made him an appointment to see his dr. Well about a month later I was bleeding abnormally bad from well female points and felt as if the pain and bleeding had become concerning my bf called 911 when they arrived I was in a fetal position on the floor the paramedics told me to get up and walk they didn't even assist my bf did . When we got to the hospital they parked me in the hallway, I had bled thru my pad and pants into the bed they had me on so I was asking for help and the nurses were just standing around gossiping laughing no one even acknowledged me , I tried to get you to go to the restroom and fell , you would think someone would say I my God are u okay let me help you but nope some nurse came over and told me to get off the floor.. ive filed a complaint but nothing is changed , they sent me home at 4am saying i probably have a cyst they left me bleeding in pain laying in a chair for 7 hrs . I'm pretty sure that chair is still there . They did confirm only a UTI from a pee cup but they didn't run anymore test . This is just 2/5 visits this year and 4/5 were all horrible experiences.
April 30th Called an ambulance, had cut my finger with a knife. Before the ambulance came I had bled through about 6 paper towels and a wash rag. They arrived and then they covered my finger with gauze and another paper towel, and arrived at the hospital. I waited 30 mins in the waiting room. Once in the room in the back, waited roughly and hour and a half. I asked for Medicine twice and didn't receive anything,(yes I was in pain crying, I cut my finger and wanted some tylenol)Nurse came in asked if I could move my finger, I told her no I could not feel it, the nurse proceeded to over it for me. Took me to another room and gave me stitches, ignoring my concern of not being able to move my finger. Sent me on my way with no medicine or nothing but a doctor apt to get my stitches out. My doctor then referred me to a hand specialist since I have cut a tendon in my finger!!! I now have no movement in my upper part of my pinky finger.
If I could give 0 stars I would. The staff should all be ashamed of themselves. Rude, condescending, and just nasty. Made me feel like I was just an inconvenience and wasting their time. As a health care professional myself, I’m disgusted.
Came to this ER around 2 am with a stomach virus while pregnant. The staff was friendly, quick, personable, and had my family and I out as quickly as possible regardless of the circumstances I had. Thank you
