I visited this place for the first time with my cousin. He raved about their country fried steak, and they did not disappoint. The staff were very friendly. And I love kitchens like these that let you watch them cook.
This was my first time in and now I keep thinking about it. Every recipe must be a homemade success because they keep serving the same things and it's all very good. I'm headed back there this morning and I'll try something different. If it's any less than a five I'll post again.
I had the biscuits with gravy, sausage patty which was huge, and eggs. It could not have been any better.
As you can see, the fish is extra burnt. The coleslaw was wattery & warm. Both the fries and the fish were greasy.
Plz know I do not rate a place until I have gone there at least 3 times.
Unfortunately... all 3 times same result, with the exception of the price... that definitely changed. $$$
Wonderful staff and warm atmosphere. The dining area is open to the kitchen and there’s outdoor seating area on nice days. There’s quaint waiting area for busy days. We came here for an Easter brunch and it was surprisingly not too busy. We were seated in less than five minutes and we got our food in less than fifteen minutes. I would recommend the lemon ricotta pancakes, they were delicious.
Food was delicious! Service was wonderful! Will definitely be back
Breakfast Diner with a Heart!
I was looking for a good breakfast spot for my morning meal! Didn’t want big box, I wanted a home town feel! In my town, I love my breakfast diners. We have the best! However, I needed to find a diner near my daughter that was a good escape and great food! I think I found it!
STAFF
Friendly, helpful, present and attentive! Need I say more… nope!
ATMOSPHERE
Diner… greasy spoon… made with care! Music was excellent in the background… staff worked well together… Being a team gives off good vibes to patrons! Well done!
FOOD
I went with a classic Benedict. Excellent choice I might add! Eggs could have been a slight firmer but it was delicious! Hollandaise sauce was great!
BOTTOM LINE
Visit… order… enjoy… it is an American Diner! Food met expectations and staff didn’t disappoint!
My wife and I stopped by while passing through Salem. WOW! How lucky we were. The restaurant is well maintained, spotlessly clean, and had a nice modern vibe. The breakfast menu was robust, service was fast, and the food came hot from the grill. I got the everything skilled which was layered with flavor and the biscuit was delicious. I wish we lived in Salem in order to eat there more often.
The service and food is amazing. Caroline, sorry if I misspelled. She is always so welcoming and kind. We had Sam today and she was great as always. You can tell how they care about customers by the food and of course the people who work there. I've been here a bunch of times and everyone is so sweet. The cooks work super hard and you can tell they take pride in their work. Everything I've tried there has been a ten outta ten
