I have had a great experience with Acenda. I see my Therapist and Psychiatrist there. They are both extremely helpful to me. I also had my Caseworker through Acenda and she was awesome. I am greatly thankful for Acenda. Thank you.

Was referred by Wellbrook to reach out to them for counseling. Made a call, did the intake over the phone. Sent me documents to sign in my email. I signed and waited for a phone call. About a week goes by. And I hear nothing. Got a phone call today from a 609 number. I usually don’t answer phone calls if I don’t know the number. Something told me to call it back. I called back and somebody named Lakisha answered and right off the bat was ignorant. Talking to me, being very condescending, and kept threatening to delete my case file for not answering the phone. She kept saying she called me three times, I informed her this was the first time I’ve gotten a phone call from them. She was so adamant that by not answering the phone my case could be closed. I told her now is not a good time to talk as I do not have a baby sitter and I’m busy at the moment. I told her I could call back at 4 o’clock. She made it clear if I did not call back at exactly 4 o’clock, my case would be forced closed. I barely know this company, and this is the first time I’ve spoken to anyone from this facility. I have a family member who works here for almost 20 years and ever since the merge with Robins nest, they have gone downhill. They don’t care about the mental well-being or the care that is needed. They were a nonprofit organization to help troubled women and children at one point. Based off of what I just experienced, I don’t believe they care at all anymore. After being disrespected, like that, I told her to just close my case, and I will gladly find a different therapist. I made it clear that I don’t feel comfortable having my life put in the hands of someone else who is so quick to write me Off. Just because I “missed three phone calls” that I don’t have phone records of. Would not recommend. ????????
"Worst Experience Ever: Avoid Acenda Integrated Health at All Costs"
I had the misfortune of going to Acenda Integrated Health recently, and let me tell you, it was an absolute nightmare from start to finish. Where do I even begin? The receptionist gave me an appointment card for monday morning a 9AM with the nurse. No appointment was ever created. She tried to blame me, when she was the one that wrote the card. She said I should have gotten a text reminder, I didnt, She insisted I did. She was slow witted and confused. Do NOT go there!!! Also, the Xmas tree was still up in the office in May!!!
Overall, I would say my experience was... weird. I called for an appointment for my child and myself, separate appointments for individual counseling. They gave me same day my appointment then his right after. When arriving the doors are all locked, someone has to unlock a side entrance to let you in. The building is vacant and empty like it's about to be sold. The counselor was sweet, but most definitely not licensed. Oh, and they did not know about my son's appointment and did not have any other counselors available to speak with him. (Again, the building was eerily empty)
Another horrible pysch service, I had a therapist that loved talking and never listening. Then all sudden one day stopped calling me and acted like it was my fault.
My kid going through the wheel of Acenda aka New Jersey Perform-care, Mobile Crisis / Family Function Therapy or whatever other name they sling around. They are quick to come out, you can get their reports. However, if you need them to testify it's like pulling teeth. They will say "we don't testify in courts" , they do..Don't let them mislead you. Do note that these people are somehow attached to worthless DCP&P, according to testimony . I have delt with several of these people. Another boas organization that when it comes down to really protecting the child, the run like little cowards. There was one out of several counselors that was a good person, Not directly from Acenda.
I will say that after I subpoenaed several Acenda workers who testified, I won my case. I will also say when calling them from the court hallway one of the workers shook her head at me as if I wasting her time.. You would think that these people would be at the forefront , ready to testify, in regards tot he welfare of a child,, NOPE.. Subpoena them and watch they send your subpoenas back in the mail after being served.. Press the issue...
They never call, they discharge you without telling you, they have you sign release forms and then do nothing with them, they tell you they are a short term facility, yeah that is definitely true, because you never speak to a doctor, they ask why you are there and then they make up their own reasons. Glad I'm not a danger to myself or others.
Don’t appreciate all the texts from Rachel I’ve been getting all month long. It’s okay to text me all month but when I ask about your services I have to call? No thank you. Not even interested to learn about your services, go somewhere else if you have to they have 2.2 starts for a reason.
