Absolutely LOVED my visit. Everyone I encountered (the front desk lady, the two assistants and the doctor) were all super sweet, warm and welcoming! Truly.
I needed/wanted an emergency extraction (which I never had before), so I came here on a whim (as they were able to put me on the schedule). During the procedure, the doctor was so kind, and reassuring, the entire time. I felt beyond comfortable and relaxed.
I was planning to go out of the country for my dental work (but this extraction was needed asap); however, I highly enjoyed my experience, (and received a great breakdown of all I needed and the cost) so I’m just going to stick with these awesome ladies. I am currently home and pain free!! Thank you SO much ACE Dental - Harker Heights! Definitely recommend!
Side note: during my visit, I overheard a little girl come in and the ladies gave her the same loving energy I received. Definitely gonna bring my younger nieces and nephews!
I usually have so much anxiety about Dentists, but Ace Dental of Harker Heights is awesome!! The staff are so friendly and professional they make you feel like family. They are great about getting me a sooner appointment when someone cancels. I get really nervous about the thought of a needle in my mouth, but you have absolutely nothing to worry about here since the Dentists truly have a "tender touch!" I barely feel anything. Now I'm excited to see my dentist and they make sure you have a plan for great dental health.
I went in for a 9 AM appointment (routine cleaning/check-in) and I was there for 2 hours. It was the worst experience I've had by far in any dental appointment. This took 2 hours due to how unprepared everyone was and the lack of professional communication within staff. The young lady who took my x-rays was wonderful and polite - no issues there. I have never ever had a doctor grab my face and my cheek the way it was grabbed, she physically pinched and pulled my face - despite my mouth being obviously opened during the check. The camera was not working and I was asked to move to a different room (fine, tech problems happen). Then after she checked, I had to wait there for whoever was in billing to let me know how much everything would come up to based on the findings. And I waited .... and waited .... and waited on the patient chair. Then after the cost breakdown, the dentist cleaned my teeth (without adding the fluoride I had to pay extra for) and walked away (I guess for the assistant to do it? I'm not sure) so I waited again .... Then the same billing employee approached me asking to fill out a survey, or referral - to which at that point I was not feeling well and I explained to her I needed to leave and they still have not finished treating my teeth. Then when I was finally ready to check out, there are a total of 3 employees in the front socializing, talking about private matters that are not relevant while a patient is standing there ready to check out (have these conversations when there aren't patients around, it looks so unprofessional and it's uncomfortable, when there aren't patients, by all means, talk and chill. But there has to be a sense of professionalism while there are patients around, or in this case standing right in front of them at the desk). Overall, will never ever come back here, will absolutely be completing my dental work at another facility.
Each visit seems to get better and better. The whole staff is awesome when it comes to listening to your needs. Sonia is the best, she explained the dental programs provided and always greats with a smile.
Dr. Sharma and Maria make an excellent team together. I get major anxiety with dentist but Dr Sharma makes me feel comfortable and always does amazing work. I was terrified about getting a root canal because everyone says it's the worse pain ever. I swear the only thing that hurt was the shots but that's normal.
My little one is seen here. Dr. Sharma is thorough and answered all my questions and concerns as a parent. The Dental Assistant (I wish I remembered her name) was very patient, kind and gentle with my son. I was surprised she was able to get his "X-rays" done as it has always been a problem in the past.
Customer service skills are amazing! Answered all my questions, got my daughter scheduled for a new patient appointment, while serving my sister with her appointment. Outstanding! 10/10!!
Nothing but kindness from the check-in ladies to the dental assistant. Dr. Sharma made me feel at ease with her kind words, and I actually cannot wait to get the work needed done. If you’re like me, going to the dentist is not always an easy thing to do for obvious reasons, but it definitely helps to not feel judged by the look or state of your teeth. Looking so forward to a better smile…
Thank you Ace Dental for making me feel welcome!
