Try accolades!!! I tried this salon because of a Groupon I found (so glad I found it)
I felt very welcomed and comfortable at this salon. It’s not the fanciest salon but I like that because it feels intimate/comfy. Also huge plus for the big parking lot in-front ????
The staff were very kind, my stylist was professional and talented, and I honestly don’t have any complaints. I would definitely come here again and will tell my mom to try Accolades!
I had an excellent experience at Accolades with Nova, the best I have felt at a salon in a very long time! I booked my appointment a little incorrectly and she was happy to accommodate me and take all the time my appointment needed. She explained things really well throughout the process and made me feel comfortable. The hair cut was perfection and she made sure of it! I am so glad I got scheduled with Nova and I am so happy to have found someone who can cut my hair exactly how I love it!
I booked four services to have a special mother/daughter day. Our experience was somewhat mixed.
First, I will preface my honest comments by saying from making our appointment, to checking in to our appointments to each service person - everyone was very welcoming and kind. The front desk person at check in was particularly pleasant. My massage was honestly not up to par by a long shot however. I got the sense maybe this person was unaccustomed to doing them? There was no discussion about what type of massage or what kind of pressure I would like. Although he did ask if I had any problem areas and I told him my shoulder. It was the softest massage I have ever had and I have had a lot to compare it to. In all honesty it did not remotely like a typical massage I have had anywhere else - around the world even. In fairness - I did not tell him to do it firmer as it was so odd - I didn’t think he was a true massage therapist. I probably should have spoken up and that is my bad. So, while he was very nice - it was disappointing and I would not go back for this particular service. Also, at times the noise level was very high. I asked at one point if we were by the break room and he said the shampoo bowls were right outside the room and due to the noise of doing that service - the people talk loudly to communicate. Not conducive to a relaxing experience. I walked out of the service not feeling like I just had a massage at all. However, he was a very nice person.
My daughter’s manicure experience was ok but the service provider said, she normally does hair and had never done a manicure on someone before….what?? I am thinking my massage guy perhaps was really a haircare provider that stepped in to do a massage but that is not his wheelhouse area.
We both had facials and that experience was quite good. She is talented and definitely had a lot of expertise on skincare.
The style of the rooms for the facial and massage were very nice inside and well appointed - so kudos for whoever styled them - well done!
So, in a nutshell - our impression was that Accolades strong wheelhouse is hair services, and that is their bread and butter service line. Massage and nails - not so much - although they offer them to show-a full suite of options. So, if getting nails done or a massage - I would go elsewhere. But again, very nice staff. So - it was a very mixed experience.
I had ONE appointment with Anna Corbet at Accolades and she nailed it! Her consultation was thorough and she gave honest feedback as far as what my hair will and will not do and we made decisions together on how to proceed. She explained the entire process and was a gem the whole time. I showed her my inspiration photos and she absolutely nailed it on color AND cut! I drive one hour and ten minutes to get to this salon and will continue to do so because Anna listens and cares and gives you what you want and can realistically be done with your hair! I adore Anna and am a client for life! Thank you, Anna!!!
I'm very impressed with both Anna and Rhiannon. They've both been very warm and have offered advice on styling my curly hair. They both were great at listening to what I wanted and making it happen.
This is definitely my go-to salon/spa. Thanks Accolades team!
The experience at this salon is always great. Sam is awesome. She takes her time during the consult and is very knowledgeable. She’s the only person I trust to do my bleach and tone. Definitely recommend Accolades
I had a haircut at Accolades and the location was nice, the check in person was very friendly and my haircut was done by Laura W. She has a good eye for what would look good on you and has a calmness about her that makes you trust her skills and know your haircut will be done by steady hands. Very positive experience.
I got my haircut from the stylist Laura Nova. I showed her my hair inspiration photos of a long shaggy layered haircut and she nailed it! Afterward she gave good styling tips to use for my new haircut. Nova is very friendly and accommodating.
