Best WLM Reviews

I want to give a big shout-out to Access Health, especially Dr. Son Duong (Adults) and nurses, for their excellent work and professionalism. You do a great job and help people who come to that health center. Thanks to your good work as a doctor, you detected my colon cancer in time in 2022, and today, thanks to God and to you, I am completely cured—merits and recognition to that institution and especially to Dr. Son Duong.
If you have another choice then I would go with that, this is by far the worst place you can come to. Staff is incompetent. They do not understand the meaning of urgency and how to handle situations. Administration should really reconsider this before they get hit with a law suit. I visited about a week ago, made a follow up appointment for end of the month. Unfortunately my condition got worse and I ended up in the Emergency Room where concerns were brought up by the doctor and I was told to follow up with my OB/GYN with in the next two days. Called their office and was told they dont have any availability till the end of the month (even after explaining the situation). I will definitely be speaking to the higher ups but absolutely ridiculous. Will be making an effort to find someone else who can take the shitty insurance I have unfortunately.
The girl that works in the pharmacy pick up window is extremely rude every time I come.
Updating Review:
Yet again another horrible experience.
The pharmacy called me on a Tuesday and told me my prescription would be ready on Friday.
I took off work early to make it to the pharmacy within the hours to pick up my RX when I got there the pharmacist told me it won’t be ready until Monday..
This is unacceptable.
As I was leaving, the pharmacist told me that I should wait to receive a text before I come pick up my prescription. I was going off what the pharmacist told me when she called me to let me know to come pick it up on Friday.
I don't know if it is Dr. Son Doung or the Staff working for him at Richmond are so terrible but all I know is that they don't care about the patient. I can not get my medicine authorization since May 29, 2024 up now and I keep calling and calling and calling. I don't know what to do. My insurance keep sending my Doctor Office the same form but somebody is not doing his/her job. I believe when I die Texas Board of Medical will hold someone responsible for not doing their job.
Completely inefficient and unorganized. While Dr Zafar is generally nice. Her and her staff are so unorganized. A referral was to be sent. Now I’m not sure why it wasn’t sent because I’ve gotten 5 different excuses as to why it wasn’t.
1st excuse they were trying to find a facility that accepts my insurance
2nd excuse was that the doctor didn’t upload the referral into my chart
3rd excuse was that the doctor didn’t put the diagnosis code
4th excuse was that referrals take up to 2 weeks to send out
5 excuse was that they are short staffed.
So if there’s anything possibly high risk about you, don’t even bother because I’m not confident that this facility can effectively treat you or effectively send referrals out timely to ensure you get the proper health care you need.
It took over 4 days to get a call back and within 2 days, I received all of the above excuses. I spoke with LaTessa who was friendly and was told by her that the Dr didn’t out the diagnosis code in and she would work with the Dr in the office to get it worked out and sent. Cynthia called several hours later to inform me that Dr zafars MA told her that referrals take 2 weeks to send out. I told her that LaTessa told me something different so what’s going on. Finally, Rachel (nurse practitioner) called to tell me that they are short staffed but basically if I’m not going back to their office my new doctor needs to send the referral. ABSOLUTELY NOT. Dr Zafar made the recommendation and is obligated to send the referral regardless of if I’m going back to see her or not. This office has directly caused a delay in my care and I’m on the fence about whether or not I will file a formal grievance. Do not go here if you expect bare minimum from a doctors office to at least be organized and efficient when it comes to patient care.
The worst service ever it's ridiculous. How I came at 7 40 and signed in, and they are taking other people ahead of me .. also when I asked what's going on, the nurse screamed and told me she was going in order.. so I asked the front desk lady, and she said I don't know how they do it in the back there and just in my face completely ignored my complaint .. if you have a choice, don't EVER come here. Go somewhere else
