Best WLM Reviews

Had to put one star so I could write a review. My rating is 0 stars. Took my wife in for respiratory, abdomen, leg pain. Had a cat scan done from another facility. Had all the results from the ct scan. Chris Dematt never read the entire ct scan report. Told my she had allergies. We are now at CC medical center treating blood clots in both of her lungs. Horrible service from Chris. He seemed rushed and showed no empathy towards my wife. This place is a scam.
Can't give less than one...talked my friend who is elderly into getting insurance and seeing a doctor. She got some terrible Christus product that gives very few options for providers nearby. This was one of the few who she could see right away. Her dogs pulled her down when walking them and she's been in terrible pain since with her shoulder and side. She had no problem before that happened.
He literally told her the excruciating pain she's having is "old age". This is the second experience she's had with doctors in this area, one at a Christus hospital, one a Christus insurance exchange provider. Both bad experiences. I will never convince this person to see a doctor again, now that this clown show has taught her there is no point.
If you need more than a bandaid, don't go here.
Website (and a sign on the door) show hours are 7-7, 7 days a week. We made an appointment online for 7:00. We got there, saw staff walking inside, and at 7 tried to go in. Door was locked. We knocked and tried to open it until 7:15. I called the phone number twice. No response to any of our attempts. We ended up going to the ER across the street. Very unprofessional.
showed used 10 minutes before closing luckily they saw my boyfriend who had a hurt hand, but the front desk was very rude and gave nasty looks. The doctor was nice but the front desk was just unbelievable and then they ended up sending my medicine to the wrong CVS when I called to get it fixed the front desk lady talked to me in the nastiest and the most unprofessional voice and Even yelled at me and used bad language because she said she already called Cvs to change it and I said that it was wrong and it wasn’t my fault that they messed it up not the place and wouldn’t recommend unless you desperately need a place
Really unhappy with overall service they provide. Started seeing them with a switch in insurance and will be looking for a new primary care physician. Office staff seems very friendly but not very organized I liked the idea that they were a one stop location open later than regular clinic but you can can't book for a specific physician on specific days as they rotate between locations. Had to rearrange things to get seen at another location to not actually get seen by that physician but a student. Have to call multiple time and get told various things by various nurses for prescriptions as for some reason they cant seem to escript to heb, they recommend I go pick up a written script from office and then closed early without notice. Let me edit this to say island office called me at 12:23 to go pick up script in Portland location and by the time I got there they had closed.
Surprise bills... False pricing information... Billing department unable to communicate with this facility...
My husband and I had been sick for a few days leading up to a trip. We were on the fence about seeking treatment as we felt the illness wouldn't last much longer, but our mild symptoms were persistent. I called Access Total Care to understand billing and out of pocket costs to see if it made a difference if we made an appointment or walked in and to evaluate if it was worth going. I was informed it wouldn't make a difference because either way it would be considered urgent care. I asked what the out of pocket costs would be. I provided my insurance information, and I was told no charge.
Therefore my husband and I went that day to get checked out as we had no out of pocket cost. When I arrived it seemed the person at the front desk wasn't the same as the person on the phone. I filled out paperwork and provided my insurance card. I asked the person at the desk to confirm there would be no charge for the visit as I was told on the phone and if so, could they see my husband and I both at the same time. They advised that there would be no charge for either of us.
When we were being seen they asked if we wanted a swab test. I asked if there was an additional charge for this, and I was told no. When I checked out, I asked if anything else was needed. They said no, we were good to go. I was surprised when about a month later we received statements with outstanding balances.
The office provided wrong information and is now trying to collect hundreds of dollars after having told us multiple times there would be no charge. I called their billing department to discuss the situation. Their Kingsville billing were unable to resolve it as they could not get in touch with this Corpus Christi location. I tried to call again later, but there was the same issue where billing could not reach the Corpus location. I left a voicemail at the Corpus location myself to get a call back and still have not heard back a week later. Meanwhile we are getting multiple automated emails and text messages. We never would have visited if they had been truthful with pricing. As a patient/consumer, I called ahead of time to get pricing, asked at the desk, and inquired with additional testing. Furthermore I am now wasting my time trying to resolve as this office and their billing department do not communicate with each other.
This is the best kept secret on the Island. I usually make an appointment but you can get in and out in less than an hour in most cases even without an appointment. These are the most caring and efficient health care professionals from the Nurse Practitioners to the assistants and office staff. I am so Blessed as this facility is about a mile from my house.
Thank you so much for seeing me so quickly and getting me the help I needed! Fabulous team! Everyone was very personable and they listen to the patient! Thanks Chris I know I will feel better with the meds you prescribed! I appreciate all of you! Have a great night!
