My review mirrors that of another customer, Linda Kuwahara, from three months ago. The quality at this Acapulco location has gone downhill, especially if you’re not Hispanic. We ordered a combo with three items and drinks, but the enchilada came with chunks of beef instead of the traditional shredded beef. The menu specifies shredded beef, so they’re aware of this standard. I didn’t make a fuss, knowing we won’t be returning. Also, if you post a negative review, the owner won’t respond, which says a lot about his concern for customer satisfaction.
Very nice restaurant, with a wonderful wait staff. We couldn't stop eating the delicious free chips and salsa it was so fresh and tasty. On top of that their food was delicious, the dessert yummy, and the adult beverages tasty. We'll definitely be returning.
We had a perfect summer lunch at Acapulco’s for our monthly get together. We enjoyed the Grilled Chicken Mexican Caesar, Tostada Del Mar, Fajita Tostada and Chicken Tacos. Our waiter Maurc S was friendly and provided us with great service.
Went for the weekend lunch buffet. For $32 it's a really good deal - loads of quality options and bottomless mimosas which they aggressively push onto you.
This restaurant location serves fresh chips with their salsa throughout your meal. The restaurant sits overlooking the water. The food here is good. The staff makes you feel welcomed upon entry and up until you leave. Alma was an amazing host. She was the reason the experience was memorable. We frequent this location often, and we will continue to return.
Went for their Sunday brunch and it was Amazing. Bottomless mimosa makes it even more appetizing. Went to the Long Beach location so you get to see the water and it's two stories. The waiter was great, didn't need to ask for anything he was always right on time to top my honey off. The selection of food was great, breakfast and Mexican food, fresh tortillas, fresh omelettes. Would definitely recommend for a family Sunday brunch or girls day. That is our new favorite Sunday spot and the PRICE IS ABSOLUTELY REASONABLE❤️❤️ YOU WILL BE HOOKED!
Don't let the ugly tile floor at the entrance discourage you. The food in this place is excellente. I had an enchilada Ranchero with a salad that was very delicious. The margaritas were awesome too. Get the bigger sized, it's worth the price.
We decided to celebrate our mother's birthday at this particular location. The service was excellent and the staff were very friendly. The food was very typical of El Torito style. The food was great except for trying to serve frozen carrots and green beans for a children's meal. The restaurant itself is very dated. The outside patio furniture, tables, and chairs need to be replaced. It was very dirty, the paint was peeling, the chairs were extremely dirty to sit on, and not just a clean place to have a meal.
So we decided to give this at best a three star experience. And if the manager reads this, please do not serve frozen carrots and green beans for a children's meal side.
