Mexican flair grocery products. But the real find here is the restaurant inset located in the store. Taco Tuesday is good but the Burritos are Great! Experience the fresh food and baked goods. Worth the drive.
Ok. So here's the deal. They tell you it's best to put in an order when buying a large quantity of pan dulce (i needed atleast 50 pcs). So they can be baked "fresh" upon pick up. So i did. 4 days ahead. Well, i get there to pick up when i said i would .the nice cashier was told they weren't ready yet because "they weren't out of the oven yet". LIE! ALL but about 5 pcs were NOT freshly baked. On the hard side to the touch. Not even a bit warm much less hot. Total disappointment! Not even one concha!(lol, funny, not funny) i had told her i wanted conchas & that type of dunking bread. So, for the $80 worth of bread, i only got 5 pcs of soft, warm, "fresher" bread????♀️ When you have customers paying your price (no discount for larger quantities) then give us what you promise. That's all. Rant over. Just very disappointed.
I've passed this place on 301 many many times and never went in until this weekend since they advertised cheap baby back ribs. I was like ok...I'll bite.
What a cool place! This market has a little of everything! Fish, meats, produce, desserts, flowers, jewelry, and authentic made to cook meals.
After picking up a few things, we decided to try a handful of items from their cafe. We ordered the steak gringos (delicious), the bacon wrapped jalapeños (yummy), the beef empanadas (oh heck ya), and the street corn (a huge NO in my book- too salty and too much seasoning. I threw it out).
The cafe was packed, and everyone seemed to enjoy their food in the dining area. Prices are very reasonable, and we will definatekynbe back to try more foods on their menu!
So in love with this market, I do almost all of my grocery shopping here. They have a restaurant inside the market that does dine in and takeout. They also have fresh tortillas 24/7. There are amazing produce selections and their prices are outstanding.
Acapulco Tropical is a ‘diamond-the-rough’ grocery experience.
The produce is always fresh, the bakery is awesome and the prepared food is amazing, especially the roasted chicken, ribs and Cuban sandwiches.
Great selection of sauces, spices and other grocery needs.

Best Mexican grocery I’ve found in the area and once of the cleanest stores I’ve seen. Can’t comment on the hot food (Don Pancho Villa’s in Clearwater is likely better) but the produce is excellent. Prices aren’t always the best - and read the signs closely.
I love calling and asking what time they’re open until (9pm), and then driving 5min there for them to already be closed. It’s 8:23…
Update: I watched at least 10 people pull up asking what was going on as managers and employees walked out shooing everyone away.
First time there. We were totally impressed!!. Extremely nice folks, very good prices, very large selection of EVERYTHING. We'll definitely be back
