Service was pretty great. They seem nice but busy. Handled me well. And we’re able to serve me quickly. However food is terrible. I had regular chicken tacos. It’s giving texmex. Can’t bring myself to finish and only took 2 bites. No lime or cilantro. I’m sad.
Best Tamales ever! And I eat at a lot of Mexican restaurants. The service was attentive, friendly, and experienced. Perfect portioned and promptly served. Can't believe I've never tried this place before (sorry mom), Beverly Romero always said it had great food. Yep, it does!
Some venues leave a different feeling. It's just not just another Mexican place. This is a restaurant where they are glad you came. You can feel it. Thanks bartender Mary for being so awesome!
First time dinning here. It was recommended by a friend and I was very happy with my evening.
The service was prompt and very friendly. The food was prepared pretty quick compared to other restaurants I've been to of this type. My dinner was hot, fresh and had great flavors.

I can only recommend what I had because I've only been there once but if the food that I had was that good I imagine the rest is just as good.
This was our 1st experience here & the person who told us about it is also with Ys...cuz, if it wasn't like they said it would be they would be banned from offering more restaurant suggestions!!! The service, quality of food, atmosphere & also cleanliness of the space (I didn't see kitchen; dont wanna) AND the presence of the owner/mgr made this experience even the better!! I heard it's poppin/popular on Friday nights, I'll hv to come on a Friday very soon!!
But, the food was flavored & great ????????! I cannot wait to return!! (Don't live in area)
I went and ate at the bar one day after work. It's not the restaurants fault but they had a couple of annoying patrons that I'm guessing are regulars. One woman was leaving in disgust when I first got there after talking to one of said patrons.
Service was good, food and drinks as quickly as they could get them to me.
Food was pretty bad. Tasted worse than what you can make at home with seasoning packets.
Absolutely the best...! All the way around....I moved out of the city and go out of my way to eat there ???? Always a great relaxed atmosphere, the food is so flavorful... And cooked to perfection in my opinion. Definitely a place to check out when you're in the area.
Wow, we have been coming to this restaurant for nearly 40 years. Everytime I get the same thing, #10 Chimichanga, no cheese on top with rice and beans. I tell you it is the best Chimichanga in the US, at least the ones I have been to, and that's at least half of them. Great atmosphere, greater food. The owner now is the daughter of the original owner, and she is doing a fantastic job with the place. If you haven't tried, you should. You will not find a better meal. Thank you for all these years of good food and fun!
