We've been here several times already. This is one of the few legitimate delicious Mexican Food restaurants on the island that has successfully catered to the pallet of the island but still tastes like Homemade Mexican Food.
The ambiance is nice. Our youngest enjoys seeing how vibrantly decorated the place is and he enjoys every piece of art on the walls and the hanging paper banners on the ceiling of the outdoor section. They have a QR code for a complete menu of their goods. I think it's an extensive menu. Most items have the option for meat are: shredded chicken, shredded beef or ground beef. There are still steak options. There are seafood options. But one thing I didn't find is the option for black beans. They only serve refried beans. Their refried beans are seasoned well and really delicious. Everything we tried was well seasoned and really delicious.
Service here has been pretty good. We've only had one time where they forgot something we ordered and it was really slow but during their busiest hours we've had amazing service. Drinks come out quickly. Food comes out quickly--which is a welcomed pleasant surprise considering how long service usually takes for sit down dinner on the island. This place is A Must Try if you've never been. I highly recommend eating here.
Great experience here! Hawaii isn't known for its good Mexican food, but this place challenges that stereotype. Everything was great and we had zero complaints.
I got the Macho Burrito with steak and it was massive. My friend got the crunchy tacos and quesadilla starter and he really liked them too. Overall, we left full and satisfied with the food and service.

Not my typical pallette of choice for dinner, but the food was absolutely delicious. Kind of shocked me. My initial thought it was going to be average, but went above my expectations. Definitely coming back!

This place was amazing the cook came out and we expressed how great the food was. Chris prepared the drinks…….OMG the best margarita!!! When you visit make sure this place is n your itinerary absolutely awesome!!❤️
Absolutely the best authentic Mexican food I have had on the island! The salsa had just enough bite. I had the enchiladas and my husband had the chimichangas both were ‘roll your eyes’ fantastic! Service was great drinks were strong. Love this place!
Food was good and got lots of it but I like it spicy and it wasn't. Green and red sauce a little bland but chip dip was perfect.
Expect your service and meal to come with a negative attitude. Would have gladly given a 25% tip however both waitresses didn't check in to see how we were doing, we had to ask for more water and overall they showed signs of neglect. They were basically robots. I have worked in the service industry for years and this place did not impress me one bit. The servers probably forget to realize their tip reflects "THEIR LACK of effort to give good service" and think we are cheap, but we are definitely not. Their loss. Food was good, but next time better to drive over to Kailua instead for Mexico Lindo
Horrible customer service. There were two girls working there one of them was nice and the other was very belittling. My mom who doesn’t speak English well asked her if she spoked Spanish and she very rudely interrupted and said no. That’s fine if you don’t but you there no need to have an attitude specially when you work at a Mexican restaurant. We asked about the tacos and she said they only serve tacos ala cart on Tuesdays. HOW? It’s a Mexican restaurant???. The atmosphere was trash. It’s very small inside only 5 tables and the salsa for chips was TRASH it tasted like out of a can. We ended up cancelling our order very politely and paid for the drinks I ordered and leaving. Customer services is important. Like I said their service there needs to do better.
