Best WLM Reviews
Chill bar during the day, and an absolute party on most weekend nights. The place has an alright sized bar that can handle a lot of orders if there are enough bartenders present. The drinks here are good, and they do not skimp on the alcohol. The food is pretty tasty as well, even though it did take a little while to get. They have a pool table if you're up for a game, and when it gets crowded, the main floor between the booths and bar becomes a small dance floor. However, it is a bar and grill; not a club, so do be mindful of that. Overall, I would recommend coming here in the afternoon to early night for a chill bar experience with some good food.
Absolutely amazing! The atmosphere is amazing, prices are insanely awesome, and the food is phenomenal. My friend said, "hands down the best burger I've ever had." They have pool, drinks, and lots of fun decorations. Very much a bar atmosphere downtown. The cheapest burger is $5.75, and the most expensive is around $8 or $9. I 100% would eat here again.
Awful service and attitude from bartender working around 7pm 9/15/24. If management sees this the bartender should be reprimanded at least. I got skipped intentionally twice and waited for about 15 minutes until I had another customer order for us. He was serviced immediately. I was sober and not being disrespectful in anyway. Waiting patiently. I didn't deserve to be treated this way.

This place was awesome.
A.C.'s is definitely a dive bar, but I can say it was the best burger and fries I've had in a long time, maybe the best in Charleston. I went in for a quick bite while staying close by, I ended up there for 6 hours!
I had a few drinks and played pool with buddies and the college kids. A.C.'s Bar and Grill has a great vibe, the bartenders are nice, food service was fast and efficient, with a screen that would display your order # for pickup at the kitchen window. The chef was very friendly as well.
The pool tables were easy to work into, and man these folks are good. It is $1 per round, and there is an ATM if you need cash. There's a decent amount of seating, both at the bar and in the booths. Standing room can get crowded at a certain point, especially with people keeping clear of the pool tables. The bar can become crowded but everyone was good with queueing.
The locals know how to party and keep it classy. We were there until closing time and there was never an incident involving fighting, yelling, cops, etc....
❗My only complaint is the overhead vents or pipes would consistently drip water— on your clothes, food, and drinks. I slipped a few times as well from the puddles that would form on the floor. This could be a one-time or seasonal thing due to humidity and the air conditioning. As I am not a local, I will give them a pass, just maybe mop it occasionally?
I stopped in to get a drink and a small bite to eat. A.C.'s is a local dive bar with a few pool tables for entertainment. I got the fried mushrooms and they were pretty decent. It's served with a creamy horseradish sauce. I don't like horseradish but this sauce was the right consistency and flavor..not too overbearing at all. This is one of the locals' hangout spots. Now go and check out my other reviews on places to stay and eat. We outchea! SHALOM
Divey feel to the place. Has threee billiards tables. Booth and bar seating. $2.75 miller high life’s.
Fun place. Dive bar that has great, cheap drinks and a good game of pool. Didn’t eat the food but I heard great things abt the cheesesteak. Stop here when you’re downtown!!
If I could leave zero stars I would. They support men that beat women and their bouncers have women who have restraining orders against them. The place smells like a porta-john. It stinks inside and the fact that they live men that beat women is a big no go. Def don’t feel safe. Also have heard of many women being drugged. Bartenders all are all on coke. 0/10. Brian rohdie beats woman for
A fact dm if you have doubts.
