Best WLM Reviews
I love everything about AC, but this is hands-down one of my favorite locations. I love the modern, sleek, and simple design of the hotel and the rooms. I’ve stayed here a few times and each time is better than the last. I stayed in the King with the in-room vanity which felt like a cute studio; perfect for my weekend stay. And if I could take the beds home with me, I would!
Most importantly, I want to remark on the management staff here. I had the pleasure of meeting Raquel and Clifton who both were wonderful! I can tell they genuinely care about the guests, their teams, and the hotel overall, which is so important. I don’t think Marriott could ask for two better leaders to ensure the North Hills location operates at its best. I hope to see them around on my next stay! Thanks to you both, and all the staff for keeping everything running smoothly!
We had an incredible weekend for our Son's Soccer Tournament. The staff were so gracious and the housekeeping team provided special detail that added to our great experience. The Roof Top Lounge and Bar was OVER THE TOP. The Valet Team were so friendly and fast. I wish they had a room with two queen beds, not two doubles. BUT we will stay at The AC Hotel next time we are in town. THANK YOU
Location is great to walk over to north hills. The Parking deck wasn’t marked for the hotel & not super clear on where to find it or where to park until I called & drove several loops around.
I think I got put on a wedding/event floor bc around 1am the entire floor erupted with noise & people coming and going & talking in the hall that lasted about half an hour. That was a fun wake up call. Towels were threadbare (you could see through them) & some of the toiletries looked clearly used with dried up product all over the lid (gross)
Breakfast isn’t included, the water for bottle fill up had a strong tap water flavor. It was fine, but it’s expensive for what it is. I’d try another hotel in the area next time.
I will stay at this hotel every single time I visit Raleigh. The staff was incredible. I arrived at midnight and Craig was a nice and welcoming breath of fresh air.
Then the next morning when I was checking out and running late for a meeting Lloyd and Clifton were amazing. I left my phone and in my room and Lloyd ran up, got it, and brought it I me and helped me make it on time.
It's a pleasure staying at AC Hotel North Hills, perfect location and easy access to everything. We stayed here and had a company event. The event was well-organized and smoothly executed and everyone was impressed with the food and service.
The room was immaculately clean, modern and well-maintained. The Staffs were welcoming and hospitable, but Paul absolutely stole the show. He left a lasting impression of what hospitality should be.
AC Hotel Raleigh North Hills is a modern and stylish hotel located in the vibrant North Hills area. The rooms are elegantly designed, spacious and fully equipped, providing a comfortable and relaxing feeling for guests. The hotel also has facilities such as a gym, a rooftop bar with beautiful views, and a restaurant serving a continental breakfast. With a convenient location near restaurants, shops and entertainment, AC Hotel Raleigh North Hills is an ideal choice for both leisure and business travelers.
We just spent two nights at the AC in Raleigh, North Hills. The room was clean but very small. The toilet was 4 paces from the head of the bed with a loosely hung barn door that had large gaps providing minimal privacy. Being the male, I prefer to go downstairs and use the facilities; but there are only two unisex bathrooms in the lobby making them both frequently occupied. The shower had a weak rain style faucet with an even weaker handheld attachment. The towels were worn out. The sink is 2 paces from the bed with an 18 inch wall between them and a very small vanity counter on each side. The bed had a very small shelf on each side. The foot of the bed has a place for your luggage and a small desk with one upright chair being the only chair in the room. The coffee maker was on top of the small shelving unit which was difficult to reach and did not have an outlet nearby. This required us to clear off what little space was provided to make room for the coffee pot near an outlet. The gentlemen at the front desk explained to us that this is a "European style" hotel. You better be a minimalist before you put down $200 a night for this place (let alone $400/night.) I should mention that the AC was abnormally loud and blew cold air right on the bed. And finally, I accidentally left a gift in the room. I tried to call the hotel the next day, a Monday, and I got no answer. The mailbox was full. I called back and left a message with the sales department. Of course I have not heard a word. So, apparently, my gift is not going to be recovered.
I hate writing negative reviews. My reviews are almost always positive but this place was a real disappointment.
Noise around property is unbearable. Cars race and rev their engines in front of Hotel all night long. Rooms face the street so you cannot even begin to fall asleep. I don't blame the hotel as its really a ciry problem, but would avoid at all costs.
