Best WLM Reviews

The hotel itself is fine and it's in a nice area with several eateries within walking distance. But let's be honest, the runes that face the alley. Those windows just need to be frosted. Seeing homeless people and a parade of police. Really not a great view. Beds were fine. Everything was clean. It was odd having your lobby not on the main floor and having to cross the street for parking I guess was acceptable. Overall it's a Good hotel for the price and the staff was great
Stayed here for a wedding with a toddler in tow. Extremely clean rooms, very friendly & helpful staff. We’d never seen a noise machine built into a room which was a nice touch considering there’s a train track nearby. We didn’t hear a train once all weekend. The front desk lady was so hospitable she made friends with our son over the weekend, it was so cute! Great location for exploring downtown as well
I really liked this hotel - stayed for 3 nights over the Labour Day weekend. I was very happy to have received an early check in and housekeeping scheduled their work in my room around my schedule. The location was great - right next to the convention center and midway between downtown and the strip district. There was some train noise at night as it is next to an active rail line but the hotel feels well constructed and my sleep wasn't disturbed. The lobby / breakfast / bar was on the 7th floor with a beautiful view of the river and the skyline. Breakfast wasn't included in my rate but $15.99 was pretty fair for the quality of the food (much better than I expected) If I end up back in Pittsburgh I'll likely stay here again!
I stayed only 1 night, and it worked out nicely overall. My room was modern & clean, and the air quality was good. Not humid. AC worked well enough. And hallways were SUPER quiet, even though the hotel was really busy while I stayed. I actually slept very comfortably.
There were some things that weren't good, however. For example, I had a slow draining bathroom sink, the ice machine on our floor was not working, and the view outside my window was of some alley with mountains of trash piled up (some dump site).
Lobby staff was nice. They are excellent on the phone. The parking was right across the street and really easy, costing $25 for the day. Good location with good food and stuff to do within walking distance.
I would stay again.
Unfortunately like other guests on here this hotel missed the mark. When you speak to the front desk they tell you what you want to hear but fail to deliver. Our room wasn’t serviced and it was very dirty. Our shower backed up because of previous guests hair that wasn’t removed from the drains and they never cleaned it even when we told them about it. We walked around the room with socks on because there was a lot of other guests hair in the room. The water vases are supposed to be sanitized and cleaned but we could never find one that was clean. For the amount of money we paid I didn’t expect 5 star but I also didn’t expect to deal with all the issues we had. I told the front desk and they said they would work with there team to correct the issues but when you read the reviews on here it just seems like they aren’t be corrected and are just coming up with excuses. Our view was the back alley were you get the views of homeless urinating in the alley. I know the hotel can’t control that but don’t be surprised if you book this hotel and see it.
Nice rooms. Updated. View of the city from one side. Very quiet. Walking distance to the shops and restaurants at the Strip District. Plenty of paid parking across the street (about $25 for overnight... credit card only).
Staff was great!
We've utilized this hotel twice for a company retreat. The location is perfect with access to the Three Rivers Heritage Trail linking many downtown locations. The spaces including conference rooms and the lobby and bar area are comfortable, functional, and well appointed. Similarly, the rooms are clean, comfortable, modern and very enjoyable.
We were arriving in the middle of the night after a rough drive and needed a place to stay with our baby and toddler. I booked the room and called ahead and the staff had a pack n play set up for us in the room when we arrived. They were accommodating and the rooms were sparkling clean and comfortable with a built in sound machine. We will definitely return when we are in Pittsburgh again.
