Best WLM Reviews
This was one of the best hotel experiences my wife and I have ever had. You walk into one of the best smelling scents right in the main lobby. The rooms are very nice and the shower is awesome. Pay for the breakfast package when booking your stay. The breakfast was top notch with full-service (Chandler is great). You won't regret staying here.
I spent a weekend in Tempe with my best friend reliving college days and an ASU football game. We stayed at this hotel and could not have been happier with the experience. Top to bottom, this hotel is fantastic. It is a great location, it has all the amenities you need, it is clean and comfortable, and the staff are all so nice! ||The room with two double beds was great for us. It was spacious, clean, and had everything we needed. The lobby has a small shop that is perfect to keep hydrated and filled on snacks. The team at the front desk and throughout the hotel were all lovely and helpful. Always smiling and willing to help.||The rooftop pool that overlooks A Mountain was an oasis in the desert. Plenty of chairs and space the water was perfect.||All in all it was a perfect stay. I will stay again, for sure!
Clean hotel and caring staff. It is rare to find both of these boxes checked. Jordan is a star! She is attentive and very responsive with a great attitude. She insisted that we had great experience and if anything wasn't up to par, she made it so. The entire front desk team is solid. Cedric and James were very accommodating. We would return without any hesitation.
The room was spacious and had a nice area to store your luggage. The furniture was well taken care of as well as the beautiful bathroom. The beds were super comfortable and the overall hotel was very close to downtown mill which was awesome! Overall I had a wonderful experience. Also, the staff were super friendly.
I am titanium elite life time member of Bonvoy. The AC hotels are nice, newly renovated and modern. I enjoy my stay but it’s nothing special. I asked for an up grade and the gentleman at front desk said “ yes, a room has become available “ it wasn’t an upgrade. It was basic room with a king bed. I was too tired to argue and that Phoenix heat is serious!! When in Tempe I’d most likely stay at the Residence Inn or the Westin. Both better than the AC Hotel.
I wish I can tell you all this was worth the stay, but surprisingly they hit me with extra fees. Parking fees and restaurant room charge? I didn’t even use their restaurant. I had a cup of coffee at the lobby and coffee was cold the lady who was putting stuff away rudely said there’s no hot coffee. Just felt like with the price if this place you would get better treatment.
Beware of parking fees but worth the stay.
Jordan has been more than helpful with the checkin process, all questions regarding my stay and things related to the area. This hotel never disappoints, as this is not my first time here when big events are held in the area. Easy to access the area with Lyft/Uber or just a short stroll to the area restaurants and coffee shops.
The most important things in a hotel room are the bed, shower and the AC. The bed was pretty comfy, very soft, so some won't like it. The shower water is barely warm. After a hot, sweaty day in 110+ temps, I need a HOT shower to feel clean. The AC simply can not keep up, making it difficult to sleep. The not as important but still nice things at a hotel are the pool, restraunt, gym, and location. The pool was cloudy with lots of debris on the bottom. The first night we went, there was litter (white claws and red solo cups) everywhere. When I went the next morning, it was cleaned up, but the umbrellas were closed, and I couldn't figure out how to open them, so I didn't bake in the sun. Also NO shade over the lounge chairs, they're all over the couches and chairs that aren't very comfortable. The restraunt was good and reasonably priced. One person's food comes out at a time, instead of all at once. I appreciate them not letting one plate get cold, and I assume it's a small kitchen with limited equipment staff. The gym is very basic hotel.gym, not great, but I never expect much. It was clean with plenty of towels and water bottles. Location is decent, I guess. Short walk to food and coffee, and the rail and bus have stops even closer. I'm not sure how safe it is after dark.
