Fabulous location. Great reasonably priced hotel across street from the beach and it has its own area with lounge chairs/umbrellas on the beach. Some rooms have an outdoor deck which is fabulous. Rooms are fresh and new. Some rooms are on the smaller side and there are no dressers just shelves. The pool is really great but there is a charge for a lot of the large lounge seating. Would like more free lounge chairs. They have free bikes to use which was fabulous and fun to ride on the very long boardwalk. The manager Arielle was really amazing and very attentive to all our needs. The staff is great. Definitely recommend and will definitely return to this hotel on any Miami Beach visit.
It was my first time at the AC Miami Beach. As soon as I walked in I was greeted by Don Payne, who had a glowing smile and bubbly personality. He was very welcoming and gave lots of good recommendations since I was new to this spot in Miami. Don is truly a gem to this establishment! The bartender we had the past 3 nights was wonderful as well! Made wonderful drinks. A couple downfalls, the building across the street was vacant and under construction. Also, I paid for the cabana rental at the pool and had to set it up myself. Not a big deal but if you are paying for it you would expect more service at the pool. The bartenders at the pool were amazing!
Outstanding customer service. Staff very helpful and friendly. Beautiful breathtaking view on top balcony. Could look right above and see the pool balcony.
However what detracted from the beautiful view was the unsightly and dangerous large pieces of chipped and loose paint on the very large balcony. Step out and you’ll hear crunches as you see a large piece of paint chip slide in front of you that shows how many times it’s been painted over again and again to hide peeling. You can pick these loose paint “tile-like” chips up they’re everywhere laying loose on this top floor balcony looking out at the water. Balcony repair needs attention. Very large balcony but the loose chipping paint layers had such a depressing and dirty feel to it.
No drawers. Have to place all clothes on ledges in room. Has a couple of clipped hangars in closet but that’s it.
Housekeeping does a fantastic job and very thoughtful and friendly. Front desk staff and the refreshing drink they offer was fun.
Several places walking distance to eat by hotel. Trolley service was spotty if they’d pick you up or not. Wave your hand to catch driver’s eye.
Beach access was absolutely fantastic and sunsets on beach were beautiful !
Felt safe everywhere and walked everywhere further down where the action was. Friendly and fun.
Most all restaurants have auto gratuity and service charge. It’s everywhere so get used to it .
Andrew is Amazing he takes great care of you! He did a great job of setting us up with what we wanted and continued to check in to make sure we were goood. Very accommodating to our requests. Took very good care of us! Andrew rocks! Good company and reliable
We had a great stay at the ac hotel Miami Beach. The location is great being right across the street from the beach with two beach chairs daily included in your resort fee. If you want an umbrella that is an additional $25 however.
There is a great view of the beach from the rooftop poo, as shown in the photo The pool is heated and is only 3ft deep so could be good for kids but the pool area was very quiet during our stay.
You will have to uber to get to South Beach or downtown Miami which is something to keep in mind.
One other thing to keep in mind which was only really a slight issue the morning we were checking out is that the elevator can be loud at times when it is used frequently.
This was my first time to Florida and I was here for a conference for work. I was a little iffy about the hotel because of the work being done on a hotel across the street from the time I walked into the lobby the front desk guy. Donta Payne was amazing !!! Such a cheerful personality, warm and inviting very personable and smile the entire time and was very willing to help with anything. I don’t recall his name, but the bartender was also very great. Made wonderful drinks and the food was very good. The only downfall I would say is that the rooms are European style so no dresser drawers for your clothing just hangers. Would definitely come again.

This was our first time in Miami and what a great welcome it was. We were staying at the AC before and after a cruise. Access to the beach with chairs and umbrellas. The rooftop pool is stunning. Rooms are updated, spacious and clean. The staff was 100% kind and professional. Very accommodating. Thank you to Abigail and the manager (I don’t know how we didn’t get his name. Probably because he was just like talking to a friend we’ve had…Go Bills!). We will be back and this will be our go to hotel!
Wonder hotel, staff and location. Andrew with Boucher Brothers on the beach was super friendly and accommodating. Ez chair and umbrella rentals with close food and drink shopping made for a great beach day. Will definitely come back soon.
