Best WLM Reviews
Pretty basic hotel. No amenities for Marriott members with status. Breakfast is typical spread you’d get at cheaper Marriott but it’s $20. Rooms are clean, but extremely minimal, small, and very loud. Definitely have stayed at better AC’s. For the price, I would look elsewhere
For perspective, I've been a "road warrior" for 20 years and don't typically leave reviews for hotes. This hotel is in a great location, Nulu is a nice area, with interesting little shops and boutiques around. You're safer here than downtown. This hotel has some of the best front desk service I've ever experienced. The bar is outstanding with well qualified bar tenders who know how to make a drink, with reasonable pricing. The breakfast was delicious. Room was clean and comfortable. What more could you ask? Highly recommend for your next stay. I've stayed here every time I come to Louisville and will continue to do so.
Traveled for 40+ years and have never experienced claustrophobia in a hotel room before. Our room was small, with no way to open a window, no view, and no fan to turn on in the bathroom. Felt like being in a box. Tried to control the temp in the room.. woke up too warm more than once each night. Great front desk staff (however they could not offer any solution when u told them the above), pretty and OPEN lobby area.. but the open feeling is in no way party of the private room experience.
Nice hotel but guest service was weird. Only 2 people working the entire Saturday night. Vomit stayed in the lobby in front of the elevators on the for over an hour. If anything was needed like extra pillows front desk wanted us to go down and get them ourselves. The hotel itself and rooms were very nice though.
I’ve stayed here 5-7 times in the last few years. It’s a great location. It’s right next to the Cuban restaurant and evergreens (what more could you need?).
I do think the hotel itself isn’t super comfortable. It’s often chaotic and really noisy on weekends. Walls are thin. Prices are high. I’ve started looking elsewhere when I go to Louisville
Came in town to celebrate my birthday. Absolutely amazing hotel! Very clean and smelled good. The ladies at the front desk checking in and out were amazing! Compted my parking as a birthday gift!! Great location, close to so many shops and restaurants. I will Absolutely stay here again! Thank you so much!
The hotel is beautiful in a great location. The staff is not the friendliest or the most helpful. I asked for recommendations of things to do in the area and received no direct response at the front desk or bar. At check in I was advised to seek parking on the first floor because there are no cameras in the rest of the garage at a $26/rate. I asked about the laundry room to which the ladies at the front desk seemed annoyed I interrupted their conversation (they only take quarters but have none to give you change with). The worst part of the hotel is that on the surface it appears beautiful and clean. When I got to my room, I moved a chair and it was filthy as if it had never been swept before including nail clippings. The floors were disgusting and sticky and without shoes your feet and socks are left black. In the bathroom shower there was pink mold in the corners and in the splash guards. The door tracks were gross as well. I usually love AC but this one was a tragic fail.
Great hotel, well appointed and comfortable rooms in a great location. Service was fantastic, and a special shout out to Joseph in the kitchen who went above and beyond to help me and my kids have a great breakfast. Thanks so much!
